Good, at least we won't be honoured with your presence this season.
See, I wouldn't mind if you could actually give a viable alternative to what's happening, that's the problem with your type, all moan, moan, moan, nothing constructive.

| I think if you actually went to the game then the first half was a good improvement which showed the team playing back to basics and what would be the point of trying anything fancy when the team need to work together. It is obvious we keep relying on Lee Briers for chances who in my opinion has had his day and we need to be able to create the chances with a new team going forward. I see that all the so called fans who use Penny as a scape goat are on calling the lad, I am not his biggest fan but he seemed to be the only one trying to build team morale which is a good start when building a team. I think that Tony Smith will be good for the team going forward to build a professional team like the Leeds we see today. Lowes had it easy as Cullen had done all the hard work when it came to fighting back he was the coach, but it seems that previously the coaches did not have the final say and I do not see TS being a yes man. I think we need to stick with it and maybe TS is looking at all players in positions to make the team he wants going forward.COME ON THE WIRE!!!!!!!

I love it when that comes up... I'm a moderator on our board... which leaves me free to have a laugh on others I'd say.

| I must be in the moniority here.
TS has already said he can't put right 20 years or.........in 3 to 4 weeks.
It was a hot day today, in that first half the ball was hardly out of play and both teams deserve credit for their defence and both were out on their feet.
Cas were good today. We just let ourselves down in attack.
But to say the players didn't try and that that was the worst performance ever, is totally wrong. The players did try, they were run into the ground. What happened at half time? They got booed again. Ffs that is wrong. And at the end grown men on the sidelines sticking 2 fingers up at the players and screaming and shouting at them.
Whats more embarrasing is not the performances of an under confident team going through major changes but our own fans. We let the club down more than the players do.

Spot on, IMO you cant knock the effort today from the team. I thought the defensive effort in the first half was top class and it only seemed to slip in the 2nd half when fatigue kicked in.
We are seeing improvements under TS, A few months ago we would have conceided a lot more points than we did today with the amount of defending we needed to do. That surely shows that TS is sorting out the defence as his #1 priority.
on the attack we did lack options but again i dont think this was lack of effort, We need play makers out there which at the moment we do not have but in time TS will sort this, Things do not change overnight and realistically it will take a few seasons to get things going as well as they should be.
There are no short term solutions, Buying players doesnt always solve everything (ask a Man City fan) so lets give them time. Turn out at the games when you can, Go for the love of our team and get behind them, Yes there will be plenty more losses and if you dont like it then dont put your hand in your pocket, stay at home. If you are going to go to the game at least SUPPORT our team.

Lest we forget that Loyalfan came on this board the second Salford finished above us in the league table and posted something cringeworthy like 'I have waited a long time to say this - Salford are better than Warrington'. He was conspicuous by his absence when his team were relegated the following year.
Assuming he's a grown man, it's a bit sad he hasn't got anything better to do.

Paul Cullen lost the dressing room due to decision(s) made by our board and the team stopped playing for him.
Warrington went to get Tony Smith but the RFL wouldnt release him at the time and so the board panicked and gave Lowes the job.
I said at the time that the board had (Effecitvely) written this season off and where willing to wait until Smith came in next year.
We would have been better sticking with Cullen, one move allowed by the board would have re-gained the dressing room and we would have been watching a team that was challenging and playing some attractive rugby which we certainly aren't at the moment.'"

He was a billion times better than Monaghan, so he's more of a halfback than he. I'm not quite sure what your problem with Bridge would be today ? I thought his place kicking, especially early in the second half was a s good as anything we've had for 18 months, he turned Owen around, and we had them bringing the ball out from deep.
I thought he should have got the ball more on our attacking plays. When it went to Monas, the move ended badly, Bridge got his hand on the ball in a good area once in the second half and got over the line. I didn't think in the scheme of todays performance that he showed up too badly.

On that, when we were attacking, ie, 20m out or less, the ball districution largely went to Monas. I'm not sure how vocal Bridge is, but he should have been demanding that ball, he looked far more likely to create something.

Trolling is funny sometimes. I've even seen trolls on the Salford board who crack me up.... I don't preach anything about trolling.... it's good to have a wind up with opposition fans... next you'll be telling fans not to sing songs 'AT' the opposition at matches. I'm here to stop slanderous comments... not trolling.

Brilliant analysis. What exactly is it about Warrington that is 'crap'? The playing staff, I suppose you must mean. And who signed most of them? The only coach to have been in charge here for more than five minutes, Paul Cullen.
But I forgot: perhaps you're one of the Salford fans who was calling for McRae's head for most of this season. Bet you think he's brilliant now after he beat 'crap' Warrington.

| Here's my take.
Yesterday has to be the most uncreative Wires side i have seen for many many years. In the past, for all our faults we could always be sure of a certain dynamism in attack. We were totally bereft of that against Cas, (who lets face it were equally poor yesterday, they just did the basics better than we did).
It seems like so much work has been put into us not conceding points, that we have forgotten the art of scoring when 10-20 yards out from their line.
At the end of the day though, and without appearing to over simplify things there is one major factor that is costing Wires dearly EVERY game - WE DROP TOO MUCH BALL!!!

How much would it cost do you reckon? I'd go halvers if it was viable.
Saying that, does anyone use Cullens crow's nest these days, that would be ideal stood above the old fogeys.
