So where as Drinkwater gone.

I don't get why everyone thinks we need another half.
It'll be nice to have another but I'm happy with the 3 we have ven considering Smith is off.
However...
I'd like another prop...the game time the out goinh George King got will flag up how shallow the depth now is.

I don't think we need another half, we need a different half, but as we know they are difficult to come by.

So prop wise we have Hill, Cooper, Tasi, Philbin, Sita & Westwood (I see him more @ prop in 2019 rather than 13 as we will have an abundance of back rowers), anyone else? I'd love to add a David Fifita type prop, but not sure the cap would stretch that far?

We have Tasi, Sita and Westwood out of contract at the end of 2019, so I'd expect to see some movement there then.

We're still a couple of squad players down to cover full back and wing for me. After that, if there was any cap space left, prop would be a good place to look, as we seem pretty well stocked in the centre & back row.

Having watched Jason Clark and Matt Davis I can see them playing some time at prop as well. So I don't see any need for another one. It's cover in the outside backs we need.

Jason Clark and Matt Davis are nowhere near big enough/right shape to play prop. Fifita and BMM coming off the bench at the same time would he magnificent.

I have watched them play a fair bit. They take the ball up in the middle of the field. They also defend in the middle. Perhaps they are just pretending to be props. If they start at loose forward (like Westwood has done this year) I don't see much difference from playing prop. Call 'em what you like ... say they are too small but they'll be in the middle of the field and they are not hookers ... so.

Neither of them have ever played prop so yes they are pretending to play prop.

I've heard no rumour other than FB to day otherwise.
I don't get drawn in by FB rumours.

Yes I heard Price and I doubt that this will change.
Perhaps we ought to give this one a rest.

I've seen the rumour and think its a non starter.
first off i don't think that's how Price does business. i.e shipping a player out who has put a shift in all season (despite what people think of his ability) who most likely doesn't want to move, and doing it a week or two before pre-season starts. This smacks of Tony smiths style desperation tactics towards the end of his reign, when he didn't care how moves may have affected team moral.

I believe Price thinks Brown deserves to have a season alongside Austin.

I also believe that Brown would retire rather than uprooting his family and going to London as per the rumour.

I think we have a little bit of money left for a surprise signing like Bodene Thompson but that's it.

Like TFB said I’d be very surprised if Brown relocated his young family down to London for one season or two.

I can't see it either, but he'll be a long time retired, and an extra £100k would do him well in that retirement.

100k if correct is nothing compared to 100k plus final and win bonuses.
