Wish Carvell was 10 years younger, he would make such a difference to the current side.

To be fair making gains isn't his Forte , and his offloads are sometimes enough to make your head pop off.

But hes a man mountain in defence , finds his feet quickly after being tackled (which is vital to the way we play) and has a presence that a lot of the players around him value highly .

Cullen had a sense of balance we signed a loose forward to play loose forward, centres to play centre and wingers to play wing. We had the props just doing that...we were light in depth for props...a result of spending below cap.

I wonder if we had that cap spend on the front row under Cullen if he'd be here now, he would allow a steady sliding decline like we've seen since the transition from his team.

Cullen was just as bad for playing people out of position, he shoved grose at fb after signing gleeson and kohe-love, he practically ruined ian sibbit's career here playing him at centre and martin gleeson latterly got shifted between centre stand off and loose forward. He was also mustard for playing people out of position whilst injured to cover rather than putting a kid in. He also signed bridge as a half back and had him playing on the wing.

Smith signed a loose forward, westerman, although he had previously gone with current trend of an extra prop at 13.

He signed a Centre, atkins, played him at centre, he's not signed another one till now, as we've attempted to recruit from within.

He's signed wingers, jonas and lineham, and played them on the wing. Granted i'll let you have matty russell but he's a bloody anomoly.

Michael Sullivan? The one half Cullen played him actually at hooker. He ripped Leeds to shreds in the playoff win at Headingly!!

Halfback by apprenticeship, was the form half in the nrl when we signed him. Never looked like one over here though.

Well I didn't say half back because he did have some problems there. Cull did make error's getting hooks to play 7.
Let down by Andrew Johns didn't help. It was AJ that recommended we sign Monas as his replacement for 7. That ultimately cost Cull his job.

Incidentally I liked Gross at fb. We could do with him now.

Sims isn't a particularly good player but how people can't see that his game is about dropping on contact and getting a quick ptb musnt understand the game

Sims is a poor second rower trying his hardest to do it at prop for us.
Cooper is the same Cooper who left Wire, disappointing today vs Cats. Lazy.

And he doesn't even do that well

Sims was our second best player after Atkins some of his last ditch defence was outstanding.

We didn't miss Hill when he went off and never returned.
And that was down to sims.

Are we seriously bagging a player because he is the face of our club.

Nothing wrong with Sims, our pack is decent but we have no support runners and are easy to read. They are basically always 1 on 3 and are never going to come out of that on top. Again, for me this is a coaching issue we have the players but our inept tactics are making them all look amateur.

I stopped reading that at Clark being a standout member.

Clarke has been a massive disappointment. He was so bad today it was unreal .

he is clearly injured. he came on with 7 minutes to go before half time and did nothing.

he made one dummy half run in the second half. he is the sole reason Dwyer thinks he is a world beater.This is because Dwyer comes on and makes twice the impact Clark does and neither of them can organise a defensive line or kick a ball.

we are pathetic in the hooking role..... again today we play the ball and no one is there and the opposition say thanks very much.....

Clark been very poor this year. More missed tackles than tackles. He is a good runner with the ball and that's it. Can't read play. Usually passes ball wrong way from dummy half.

Is Crosby injured or is it to do with,well we all know what happened to the lad and his family?

Based purely on my own situation it could be he and his wife are still badly affected by the loss. I know i am from losing my wife 2 and half year ago still.

We missed our 2 best dummy half scooters today through injury....Russell & Lineham.

The props are just not good enough....making the whole pack look a shambles....and making the backs look worse!
