Agree with all of that - the only complication is Easter and Smith maybe deciding on squad rotation. The side you mention is the strongest we could put out on Friday if that is the way he chooses to go (and I think he will).

You cant sniff at Runciman, not an NRL standard player however i think he has 16 tries in 19 games for Widnes so will be a big miss for them.

I think that on Monday TS will rest Jack Hughes and Ben C. Play Joe W off the bench and have Julien at 11, Joe Philbin at 12 & Super Ben at 13.

Don't know about the Props for Monday but Hilly And Ashton will need a rest for the Pie game on Friday.
So Jordan Cox to start on Monday. Where is Ben Evans up to ? It would be great if he were on the bench against Hull

Then there are the props. I think Hill only played a couple of minutes in the second half of the Cas game. I wonder though if he might rest Simms and use Benny as the extra prop ?

I watch them every week and Cahill stats are very good for tackles,yards etc. Runciman has scored plenty of tries too. So I do think they are our top players, and it is an opinion.

I'd be inclined to take your word for it, I've seen Super League show highlights and half the game v Wigan.

Neither of which are the same as seeing players week on week live

Ive just looked again at the handicap its now +14 to Widnes them missing Brown as pushed it out by 2 im guessing.

I am genuinely gutted that Brown isn't playing. Was hoping to see 2 more or less full strength teams in a top of the table clash. No arrogance, just wanted a proper measure of where we are. Can't help feeling Betts feels Saints on Monday are a more certain 2 points.

Oh and saw Brown on SLS2, thought he came across really well. I wonder whether that Wigan poster included him in the list of Wigan rejects? Bet they'd give their eye teeth for him right now.
