Briers is a better passer than O'Loughlin but he is not a bad player. The only reason people want to find fault with him is because Phil Clarke kisses his backside but that's not O'Loughlin's fault. He's a good player and leader like Sinfield and I would have him if we could get him at Wire.

I wouldn't. He is indeed, not a 'bad player' and, equally, you could class him as a good player - if you're prepared to forget his constant niggling in the tackle. However, Wiganers would have us believe that he is the crown prince of forwards, and he is a long way off that.

That includes Micky HIgham!

ANy way, on paddy o'loughlin, He is a mediocre player. Certainly not the best passer in super league (unless forward or into the oppositions hands)

Sean is a top rate loose forward and last night him, and most of our team, just weren't at the races. Phil Clarke does over hype him a bit too much, but he would walk into any Super League side. Well done to you lot last night by the way, absolutely deserved it.

As stated though, not into ours at the minute, IMO. Wouldn't take nobody out for him.

I watched O'Loughlin's appearance on SuperLeague Superman this morning. The only interesting bit was the clip where his leg nearly fell off and that was only because it was a bit gross.

He is WORLD CLASS.

He is the only player from wigans pack that would get in ours.

He is an excellent player. Didn't do much last night though... Well for Wigan anyway.

Maybe McGuire is the one we should be looking at signing.

If you look at Wigan's team and ours, which Warrington fan can honestly say Wigan have got a better team than we have? We're better than them in most positions.

How come they are champions and we aren't? Are they better coached than us?

I particularly enjoyed Clarke saying Lockers could still yet throw a try scoring pass.

Having said that though, I'm not sure where this "Lockers is crap (in general)" view point comes from. He's an excellent ball playing loose forward who can distribute - very much in the Farrell/Sculthorpe mould but maybe not quite as much power/drive in collision as either of those two.

to be fair, you nulified almost everything from us last night and fully deserved your win. but all you have to do is look at the last two weeks to see how good he is. those two passes against Hull that pretty much won us the game, his performance last week, that kick he put in for Charnley. On top of that he puts in 40 -50 tackles a game and never stops working. IMO he is the best loose forward in he league, who is a pretty good passer of the ball but my no means the best passer of the ball in the league and certainly not a poor player

Wise words and Warrington isn't something that easily fits together. First part of your quote clearly shows your affiliation, as does the second paragraph and I put this down to envy rather than ignorance. Wise bit comes last but as you don't follow Wigan, why not follow your own advise?

By saying Lockers is mediocre shows you are in the walled off wonderland that is Warrington. Your very own Andrew Johns said he would be a sensation in the NRL. He's been offered twice the money to go and play there but being a totally loyal true Wiganer he's refused every time.

We'll see how good wire are at the business end of the season, when we've got our full strength side back (hopefully) and so have you.

As far as i have read all wiganers have been praising Warrington for last night win Cat i haven't read anywhere about us saying wait till were full strength and got a full strength team .

O'Loughlin is a good but far from excellent player. He is one of the fourteen best loose forwards in Super League, though.
