| He gets stick for "spitting his dummy out" but honestly I think he is very controlled. Most super league forwards after getting an elbow in the chops would start swinging (quite rightly, eg. Radford) but more often than not he chooses not to throw punches.
I think that the frustration that he shows should be taken note of by the rfl. Ther are a significant minority of teams that try to control team's star players by targetting them with cheap shots and high tackles and it spoils games. Im all for a bit of biff but but these high shots and swinging arms aren't what most fans go to watch.
Before you start your response with "typical saints fan...", it is not just Graham that is targetted like this. IIRC Nathan Brown has made similar comments about his backs being targetted by cheap shots. The rfl need to do more to remove it and what better place to start.... Ryan Bailey.

What does this have to do with the most feared man in super league ( TMFMISL ) ? Ryan ( TMFMISL ) Bailey does his job more than adequately thankyou .
FGB lost his temper last night . He should have lost his grip on the player he was holding . The player was trying to get up . The elbow was no way intentional . Not sure I can say the same about the elbow of Ryan ( TMFMISL ) Bailey in the Hull game though .

| Superb player, would take him tomorrow. My only worry is that Saints have too much reliance on him up front and that he will eventually suffer burn out.

I worry about him burning out too.
Despite being a Saints fan, I would love to see him in Aus the year after next. If you want to prove yourself as one of the best, which I believe he could be, then he needs to challenge himself against the best and you can only do that in the NRL. I also love it when any English player who goes over to Oz and shows he can mix it up just as good as any of the Aussie boys ala Adrian Morely. I'd love Jammer to do that.

| Shouldn't be anywhere near as much pressure on him in terms of workload. The addition of Perry whos currently SOO and LMS who's a good solid young prop will allow him to be spelled more, and thus have even more impact in a smaller period.
Their pack next year is going to be scary. Side to beat next year imo.

| Fantastic player - would love him at Wire but looks like we'll have to wait till he's done a stint in Oz first. Graham & Burgess as our front row in 5 years time please Mr Moranavic.

| He will thrive in the NRL, he has that 'grind' about him that will reap awards. When he goes (and from what I am lead to believe, the when is imminent) I would imagine his coach over there will remove the passing element from his game. It would be quite easily be used against him.

| Good player - dodgy attitude at times. He does play like he is 'owed something' at times. But then the work he puts in perhaps he is.
Bit of a Morley about 10 years ago then.

| Why does everybody assume that he will automatically go to the NRL? Has he said he wants to play in Australia? He's come through the Saints academy system and he's a scouser so why not stay at Saints all his career and get a benefit, plus win all the trophies he will get with Saints and become an all time legend like Cunningham.

It would appear that going to the NRL is a mark that 'you've made it'. I don't agree myself but I'm probably reasonably alone in that.
He has an agent there now and is thinking seriously about the possibility. However, he has stated that at present he is 50:50.

Unless hes lying to those close to him, he is defo going.
Plus, who says hes going to win any trophies at Saints if he stays here? Superleague isnt like it was from 10 years ago upuntil last year with Saints always been the club challenging with A.Nother club. Wigan are now up there, as are Leeds and Warrington are on the verge of something big as the back to back CC wins show.

Spot on. With his Celtic colouring (and temperament) it could be a disaster for him. He is a great player. If he stays with Saints he will become a second KC.

He has already won every honour available to him in SL. Challenge Cup: Check, Grand Final: Check, League Leaders: Check, Man of Steel: Check, World Club Challenge: Check. Why not go and test himself against the best in the world and prove himself in the NRL. No one at Saints will think any of less of him if he goes, plus it's less of an assumption, it's more about the noises coming out of the club. He could very well sign for Saints, he hasn't signed a deal yet, but I reckon he might well do when he's over there during the Four Nations. Saints could do what they did with Cunningham and sign him up on another contract just hours before he is due to sign with an Nrl club, but I doubt it.
