Gilmour's hit on Mathers was no worse than any other 'man committed to the tackle' shot. Unfortunately I didn't see him do an impersonation of Briers.

I don't think the late challenge on Mathers will get any punishment from the RL. It was a mis-timed shoulder charge, nothing else.

Good lord. Are we not allowed to talk about the game, is it not completely normal to talk about how decisions might have gone differently and how they might have affected the game? Especially when your team has lost.

Gilmour's 'tackle' on Mathers looked awful, it was right in front of me, I haven't seen a replay but it real time it looked very late and high.

I thought the ref made some poor decisions, both ways mind. I came home with some Saints fans last night (you can't choose your family) and they mentioned the Pryce on Carney incident, something I hadn't been able to see from were I had been standing. They thought he was lucky to get away with it.
