| Quote ="hot mamma"Not sure of the final score but I think it was over 50 points to us and they only scored one.
Clarke, Pickersgill, Bridge & Mitchel all played from the 1st team, although Bridgey came off at half time.
Overall a very impressive performance from the whole team, and they should be good to watch this year.'"
How do you know this mama, did you go?
Where do you get information about fixtures from?

Thanks - much appreciated. Sounds like Bridge will be in the 17 this weekend if he came off at half time

| Yes I went, we found out from a couple of the younger players family.
I think there was a mention in the Midweek Guardian as well though,
It would be helpful for friends and family though if they could confirm details on the Wolves site as we went to Headingly and had to get directions from there to Stanningly, and speaking to a few other speccies they had the same problem.
I know the season kicks off from 28th Feb, but apart from that couldn't tell definetely who against, but I seemed to think someone mention Wakefield away.
Cant Greg Media confirm fixtures for us on the site, surely that would help in promoting their games..

| Timed at 20 seconds after reading this thread I found the elusive information:
[urlhttp://www.therfl.co.uk/~therflc/fixtures/fixtures.php?team=70097&days=&Go=Go&z=superleague&id=94[/url
I can appreciate that The RFL's website under fixtures would not be the place you might expect to find fixtures arranged by the RFL but strangely there they were.

Match reports now up on both Leeds' and Warrington's websites, although they have the score as 52-6 and we have it as 48-6. Adding up the scorers on the Leeds' report suggests the 52 is correct:
www.therhinos.co.uk/news/670.php
www.warringtonwolves.org/news/Wolves38559.ink
A try for Clarkey, one for Mendeika, two for Bridge (at centre), two for stand off O'Brien and a hattrick for Mitchell. And lots more praise for McCarthy.

Bridge at left centre - same again on Sunday with King on the wing perhaps?

| maybe I'm being naive or stupid, but is there are reason why v anderson, didn't have a run out last nite with the reserves, surely it would help with his match fitness for Saturday?? All the others who are returning from injury have (apart from Louis).

| Imagine the outcry on here if the result had been reversed. Given it was in our favour I think a big well done is due to those that played and the coaching staff. Especially given Leeds' status in youth development.

| I understand that, but we are well oversupplied with second rowers. I think Blythe is probably first reserve now and Johnson can cover too. Close thing between Harrison and Mitchell, I'd say.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say I rate Mitchell higher than I rate Anderson the L and Blythe. I believe Mitchell would and should be pushing for a starting spot, not just being on the bench as back up.
Westwood and Mitchell in the second row would do a mighty fine job.

| Can't agree with you there, Cockney, I think Blythe has massive potential, like I think he could be in the national side in a couple of years, I think he has a top drawer all-round game.

| In terms of rating the second rowers I'd go:
Westwood
Blyth
Johnson
Mitchel
Landerson
Harrison

I like him, he's a talent for sure. That said, I thought he struggled at the back end of the season. I thought he struggled to back up week to week. He'll get his chances this year, lets hope we're in a better position injury wise taht we can put him in & pull him out when we like.
McCarthy, Mitchell, Blythe, Cooper, Harrison & Pickersgill. We now have a fantastic 'development' reverse pack.

I feel Blythe has more to his game now, I'm not sure who's the quicker as I've never really seen Blythe stretch his legs, but he did used to play centre/wing at times IIRC. I think Blythe has more ability so to speak, I think he's better when he gets on the ball. Looking at it now, Mitchell could be more like a Westwood, a typical tackling second row, who's deceivingly good going forward, but I feel Blythe will be more like Gilmour, a player with a bit more to his game.
It's close, and I guess it goes on preference, but I prefer Matty.

I think that's as close as you can be to being spot on.
What a good position to be in, having fans debating which home grown talent should be playing in the first team.
