Wardle is okay, above average, but so was Rhys Evans a few years ago. Can't see what he offers unless a different coach can get the best out of him.

Hiku is very good at finishing moves on the wing. So I guess he'll be a bit of a failure here these days. I've not seen him scoot for an entire match though. Not because he can't, but because his coaches have employed other tactics to get their teams from one end of the field to the other. Could be brilliant at scooting for all I know.

I like Wardle, I'd be happy with that signing. I don't trust the current coaching regime with any prospective new signings though.

Signing a full back...means Ratchford to stand off ? or centre? or prop? or do we play Hiku at centre or wing or second row or hooker...or Rochdale?

Where do he and ratchford fit in ? Ratch has just signed an extension And has started to claim a position for his own and yet we sign a full back after missing out on another is ratch staying on the basis he will get to play te position he wants to ?? Or have we just signed someone and he's quite good and available and we can fit him into the team somewhere amongst the ack line as most are unhappy wth someone in it at any given time !!

He's a three-quarter who can play full back, he covered full back at Manly when Stewart was injured, but spent most of his time on the wing or at centre.

I think he also played for NZ at stand off in the four nations at one time as well?

I wouldn't say so. Attracts 3 men in the tackle every time, wins a collision and finds a quick PTB or an offload.

He gets a lot of grief from a lot of supporters because it's doesn't pay off here at Warrington these days. If he was part of the team in 2011 he'd be immense. As it just so happens, Cas are currently playing how Warrington played in 2011 so he'd be a world beater if he did switch mid-season.

Problem is he's not being played correctly. He'd do well at Cas.

Personally, I think at best he's a bench prop, as you say, if he was part of the 2011 team, he's be complimenting moz, carvs Woody and Harrison quite well.

If any of these rumours are true ,Sims to Cas & various players all wanting to join a team/club in dire straits,coupled with talk of an open letter, i would say the club is in a desperate situation ,especially when the club is reluctant to criticise the coach or placate the paying customers with regular statements.

There's no way in hell we would let Sims go before the end of the season, unless someone was coming the other way. This is a stupid rumour as we are struggling badly so why would we just offload someone to make us weaker. If Grant Millington was headed our way then happy days, but why would Cas exchange good solid Props for a worse prop. Makes no sense at all

Not sure sims is suited to how we're playing recently. I'd rather have him and a coach who could make use of him next year than smith and a ten minute chugger interchange prop.

We could be short of salary cap space. Offloading Sims would make way for 1 or 2 players.

Could be a fill in centre alongside Hiku for the remainder of the year maybe? And he wouldn't cost a lot of money as he's a virtual unknown over here. 6'1, 16 stone centre could cause a lot of problems

I got lauged at for suggesting we start him in the back row. his direct running and good lines he hits would cause a lot of damage. He's got the right build for the back row and can pick a pass. He ramps up in defence and his presence may calm a few nerves we have on the edges.

Personally don't feel he is agile or quick enough to be considered in the back row, he is best at prop for me.

Apparently we have offered Kevin Naiqama a 2 year deal which I would be very happy with if we got him. And Tony Gigot is apparently on Smiths wish list, i'd be happy with Gigot aswell. I'd assume he would fill the Fullback Position, Naiqama at centre and Hiku on the Wing. Throw Masoe in the forward mix and we're looking very strong for next year.
I assume then if Gigot played at fullback then maybe a permanent move for Ratchford to the halves? All speculation of course so we'll see what happens if all of these do get signed

Only thing that would make that better would be Brown moved to the club shop.
