Our team just isn't big enough or strong enough to compete with Leeds in the middle. And we aren't fast enough or creative enough to mitigate for it elsewhere on the field. The effort was pretty much there but the gap in class was evident.

Sandow didn't look fit to me - the brain was working but the feet weren't following.

The chargedowns were yet again embarrassing. We can't get the ball and then are happy to give them six again on the last, time after time. We aren't fit enough just to yield another six tackles away from home against top sides.

You also need to bear in mind tonight that George King, Toby King, and Rhys Evans all coming back to make their return.

Very disappointed with Monaghan, Ratchford, and Currie tonight though

He is the only player consistently putting everything in out there. He will chase till the dogs come home and he will follow up wherever possible. If the rest had the passion and enthusiasm he does we would not be 40 points off tonight. Baffled as to why he hasn't been playing, was brilliant at the start of the season, gets shafted, comes back in tonight and continues where he left off. Ridiculous from Smith.

I think we are already gone. I can't see Catalans beating Huddersfield at Hudds even if we beat Castleford, that would still mean a 4 point gap to claw back and with games against Wigan and Saints, there is no chance of us making the 4 unfortunately.

Why not criticise one of the many players who did less than ####all, rather than someone who scored a couple of tries, and probably did more carries than an ex NRL prop.

Wow that was a waist down the M62, first 20 mins fine, but I think coaches or lack of them is starting to show,, conditioning isn't right, England has had that injury since World Series, and told to play with injections, as an op is 8 weeks out, that's prob end of his season, agar hasn't worked, since poaching left for HKR we have fell apart, or centres were shocking tonight nowhere near,, Clarke was outstanding, sandow great but still jet lag,, penny will just get dropped for no reason, and this team won't change until the management approach does!!!

If every player on that team had the desire + passion as Penny we wouldn't be in this mess now.

Well on the evidence of our game tonight, I wouldn't get too excited about the arrival of Mr. Lineham. Fast and strong he may be but he doesn't have a clue about defending. All Cas needed to do was attack down our right and a score was just about guaranteed. You will need to do some serious work with him or he needs to score 2 tries for every one he gives the opposition.

If we had 12 hearts as big as Penny's was out there tonight. We'd have won.

Desperately need to be able to field a settled side ,Leeds are a team , they know what each other is doing ,they have their plays and can score from all positions,we are nowhere near that level and not many teams or even any teams are ,they are the best team in super league and we can only get better

As a Leeds supporter I can't understand the criticism some give to Penny. Admittedly I don't see him every week but everytime he has played Leeds he has looked sharp and threatening. Great positioning with sublime pace for his first try and again excelllent thirst for the ball and pace to outstrip Briscoe for his second.
Clarke must also save his best performances for his games against Leeds !!!

Sandow is gonna be a cracker for you: his class, talent, rugby brain and excellent kicking game were a strong positive for you going forward.

But yes....your pack and remaining team were pretty shat.

what a front row that was..roberts sanderson and the great mike greg as loose forward..they would of mullered this modern day pack..and boyd as capitano would av roasted any player who dared not pulled his weight...

Granted Penny is a tryer but he's a way off what quality we need.

Quality is the problem. Leeds were probably man per man stronger in each position.
By my reckoning we only had 6 players with the class to get into a top 4 SL side from that side tonight. It is no wonder we were hammered.
