| Quote ="i hate pies"if its true about morley, louis and harrison, i would be tempted to go with:
hodgson
joel monas
blythe
atkins
king
briers
myler
wood
monas
carvell
westwood
grix
bridge
cooper
solomona
higham
clarke
playing bridge at loose covers one forward position, allows grix to move to second row, and the bench means we can spell cooper and solomona at prop, possibly even move westwood to prop and play clarke in the second row. the above team and bench gives us numerous options if the injury rumours are true. if harrison is fit just take clarke out the squad.'"
Agree with you on that. That still actually looks a strong squad without Anderson, Harrison and Morley that's if the Injuries are true.

Why?
Clarke is a good defender, who doesn't miss many tackles.
A great "backer upper" of play, who's always there to finish moves off...to think, this is all some people think that's all what Richie Myler does.
Now that really is
Yes, Clarke makes more mistakes now, and maybe it is time to let him go at the season's end. But until then, let's use him. He has versitility, and he'll do a job. Also, he's better than One Trick Mick.

| I know i'm humouring the rumour mongers here but if Louis, Adrian and Ben H ARE injured you have a couple of extra choices beyond the normal that wouldn't do so bad.

| For some of our older viewers that remember challenge cup final 1990 Wires v Wigan...
The pies use to do this all the time the week before a big game headlines WIGAN INJURIES.
Wigan have no Edwards,Iro, Gregory,Bell And Ellery Hanley for saturdays Challenge cup final...
Pound to a piece of poop they would all trot out onto the hallowed turf and all play a blinder..
th eldest trick in th book..

Though of all that, but feel we need our strongest back line. Who knows with TS? Could there be a shock inclusion?
After the Quins game we stayed to applaud the players off, the under 20's were warming up and my son (6) said to me 'who's that guy with the the blonde hair he looks like a good player' They were only running across the pitch.
Not a bad idea though, Evans in, free up King/Bridge to play in the forwards. He could play on the same wing as Charnley 'cos he's gash.

| Could just be mind games but I really doubt Wire or even Morley himself would take too much of a risk with something like an eye, especially playing prop in a derby (collisions much?). One bad blow and he could detach his retina, damage the nerve etc and thats him affected for life.

Harrison will need to be strapped up just to make the bench

| DO loop speculation.
Whoever plays, Moz or no Moz, the game will be close. A piece of magic by Briers or Tomkins(sim) or a mistake will win it.
(Now I'm speculating)

| Mona's to target Hock and Cross if they play get pens galore.
Long as we can get some ball in their half I fancy our chances to score a few points, need to target the wings under the high ball, King and Joel are 2 of the best you can get for taking balls from the air.

Monaghan v Richards would be an interesting aerial battle - both very good in the air.
King v Charnley on the other hand...

Quote I am definitely not retiring and I have not spoken to Salford about signing for the Reds next season.
I need to put the record straight because a lot of stories about me and my future are being bandied about.

Interesting article, that....including
"I am unlikely to be involved in the Cup clash with Wigan at the weekend ", whatever that means
Is there a chance he'll be kitted up, or will he be the water carrier, as Briers as done before....hmmmmmmm
Glad to see him remaining positive for the rest of his career, and blowing out of the water, the rumour that he's going to go to the Warrington Retirement Home that is Salford
