A top class, close match to impress a hopefully large Sky audience. Maybe some of them will compare it to this summer's wendyball fiasco in Africa and finally realise what a real sport looks like. Would be great to win but I'll save my prayers for the play-offs as that's the time that the results really count.

I would like to see the following

A) With the scores locked at 14-19 with 5 minutes to go Ben Westwood takes the ball in and gets tackled 40 metres out centre field and O'loughlin comes in as the second Man Late leading with his Knees. Ben Westwood is on the deck and the Ref gives a penalty to us and brandishes a red card. As O'Loughlin is walking to the dug out he treads on Bennies hand who instantly jumps to his feet and chases after poor Sean and proceeds to knock him into the middle of next week. Briers lands the goal to make the final score 21-14.

Saw the infamous Cullen/Goodway incident over the internet, last week. Awesome. Never seen Cull move so quick. Typical double cheapshot by Goodway, though.

Should have won that game. Still hacks me off, that one.

Gleeson scores the first try in the corner near the big screen as Riley just fails to stop him. Gleeson is greated by half of the Wigan team in celebration but decides to throw the ball straight in Rileys Face. The Ginger Ninja then launches a right hook that sends Gleesons head backwards and a brief melee ensues.
The crowd then break out into chants of "Riley battered (insert appropriate expletive) Gleeson"

I suppose it is a sad indictment that some of my best memories of previous Wigan v Warrington games are acts of violence. I am sure it would be different if we had beaten them a bit more often.

By the way, For any of those not old enough to remember this is not a dig against Gleeson but a flash back to a previous encounter between a Warrington winger and a Wigan centre.

Solomona goes over to win the match in the last minutes with 2 players on his back. Silverwood gives the try straight away, then the replay shows he dropped the ball on the way over. Decision can't be changed, Sam Tomkins spits dummy out and is sent off.

Correctomundo Rogues. Apologies for the posts but I am still bitter after all the beating you lot dished out to us in big games during my formative years. The ghosts still haunt my fragile eggshell mind. In a way it is sort of an underhand compliment.

That inflated nodder floating about the pitch getting on Wigans nerves then Tomkins stumbling over it as he tries to catch the high ball with 2 minutes to go. Dropped ball, penalty, Wire win. OOohh the years of grief
