Smith is contracted for more than two years already (and he's over 40).

The way the contracts are structured they don't all expire at the same time (look at the current Wigan sqaud for an example of how that can happen - is it nine this year?).

Excluding Hodgson I'm yet to see anybody (present company excluded) question any of the renewals we have handed out recently: Morley for another three, Wood for another two, Solomona and Briers for another one, etc.

I think you wll find that almost if not all Warrington fans are very happy with the current make-up of our squad we'll leave the worrying to yourself.

Kicking game from dummy half is better, his reading of the game also in terms of when to run or not to. I'd also say his pass selection is better. KC was/is very good at the dummy half scoot and the cut out pass to a forward close to the line. Also I'm guessing Monas hasn't had any "help" to enhance his skills.

Cunninghams trade mark was/is taking 3 defenders over the line for a try scored from dummy half one step away from the try line...... when was the last time he scored a try like Monas did against Hull Kr...that is becoming Monaghans' trademark.....

Cunninghams Longevity will always have him as a great of the game and rightly so but I think Monas definitely can hold a candle to his fat a$$

Cunningham has played as the countries best for over ten years. His leadership and direction (along with other players) has kept Saints at the top since SL began. He was described by our very own Morley as the hardest tackler in Super League. Even now you visibly notice a decline in Saints' go forward when he isn't on the field. He's still one of the best and he hardly ever scores a 'barge over' these days. Monaghan imo is currently the best 9 in SL but as good as Cunningham at his peak? ive not seen it yet imo

One has looked at top player at the highest level of the game for a number of years whilst Cunningham has never played in the NRL.
