| Quote ="Dropkick Murphy"To suggest Hull FC are blameless is ridiculous too. It's their home game and they shouldn't be allowing it. End of story.'"
We have no say in allowing it. The club share their concerns with the SMC on a regular basis but at the end of the day we just play at the ground and have no control over the food and drink quality and price on the concourse. Similarly we dont incur the expense of hiring and paying the staff etc.

| Well they should be held accountable as to why the outlets located in the away end charge more than the others and perhaps Hull FC could highlight this themselves. If away supporters stopped purchasing, or even stopped coming at all, the prices would soon change.
It is not in the spirit of rugby league. Simple as that.
Also, there is no law regarding segregation in RL grounds, so there is also no reason to close off the away end preventing supporters housed within it from walking to a different outlet. There are no excuses.

Difference is that at our stadium we do not charge away fans more ofr beverages and food as we do the home fans.
Anyway I've sent an e-mail to that catering company for clarification.

Whilst I do agree away fans shouldn't pay more, Not turning up won't make any difference
For our derby at craven park HKR charged hull fans £18 instead of the usual £10 and only 600 turned up. It's exactly the same price this season
Sorry to say but "spirit of rugby league" doesn't exist any more Rugby league is a business now

In reality, there is nothing stopping Heathcotes from doing so. The issue lies solely with the stadium management company, I really can't see Hull FC having any say in the matter.

Interesting point on "unfair trading" here. I realise there are some differences in the respective cases but perhaps a decent legal argument if the alcohol counters are under one liquor licence under the Licencing Act 2003.

| Quote ="Paul Youane"Rubbish excuse. Just allow away supporters to use one of the "home fan" outlets, we use to be able to.

No, it's not a "rubbish excuse", it's a fact. If the North Stand food outlet is more expensive than the rest of the ground then clearly that's not good enough but it's no reason to boycott the KC.
Quote ="Paul Youane"
Funny how Hull fans are happy to claim we have the best stadium etc but as soon as there is an issue start saying =#8000FFthe stadium's nothing to do with us.
Its a small point this issue in the overall scope of things but I do think it is completely against the "all in it together" ethos of rugby league as a whole. Hull seem to have numerous supporters groups, maybe they should look at this. Alterntively for the visit of Hull we should put the prices up at the catering outlets in the West Stand.'"
No one has said that.
By the way there is nothing stopping you sitting in the other stands.

I have no intention of boycotting the KC Stadium but as I have already said it is probably the only stadium where I will feel almost "forced" to sample in-stadium catering. Perhaps I will just rely on the away fans liaison officer giving away free lollipops to address my hunger pangs.
By the way Warrington do not sell tickets for any other stand so I do have to sit there as at £21.00, with no cheaper alternatives, I feel obliged to ensure that at least Warrington will get 10% of that when I purchase my ticket. Plus as the mingling of fans on teh concourse is prohibited I would suggest that Warrington fans (un-less they are under-cover) will not be allowed entrance to "home" areas of the stadium.

| Is it true that away fans are charged more? I can't say I've heard about that before. If true then you are right, it's not on at all.
As for the trouble, it does happen from time to time I'm afraid, but it seems to happen against Warrington more than any other club. Have you ever thought it might be as much to do with some of your followers as much as it is yours? Afterall, the only time I've ever received a police escort was leaving your place on coach after the 2005 playoff game.
Anyway, all that aside I hope the people who are coming over have a good time and that there this time it's a little less eventful after the game.

The stands are sectioned off due to the prices of the seats.there is no enforced segregation at the kc.if they were not sectioned off people would pay for behind the sticks and then move to the unreserved areas of the side stands.I don't think it's fair though that they are doin this with the refreshments on our website there is a tell us section which is replied to by a director when you emial it.perhaps you could pose the question there to. as for fans not mingling then that's just not correct the west is often utilised in a dual capacity including the derby with rovers and I have seen a few fans in both the 2 other home stands. Back on topic I hope you bring a few as the biff on the pitch will be worth it with Morley being good mates with Fitzgerald and o'meely and carvell with his past at the club should be a cracker. Welcome to the KC
