I don't imagine Salford have ever operated at full salary cap, so he could have been offered £100k,which may be higher than any Salford player is on, but it would just put him in line with some of our players and below others.

Obvious to see why he is back, to fill in the missing blanks and ofcourse to see if he can stick it against SL chaps... if he looks good then he could well stay on board...if he doesnt show up to good then its back to Widnes or LA bowl or wherever.

But does anyone on here see the simualries between penny and Myler? 18 mths ago Penny was been held up to be some god like figure the next Offiah, warringtons try scoring machine who was going to take warrington to the next level.

Now he's being brought back from the wilderness because your short and if he doesnt do anything special he's out on his ear.

The same will happen to Mr Myler if he doesnt start well next season and keep performing though the season you crowd will get on his back and i can see him being ejected the same way as penny in 2 years time.
Since Offiah did his little deal he has been terrable for us, perhaps the pressure cooker of Warrington wolves RLFC has got to him already.

Should have stayed at Salford so he could finish his development and move to a St Helens or Leeds or Wigan in 3 years time the finished article.

Spot on. Plus, 90% of fans (including some Wire fans ) expressed plenty of doubts about Penny, whereas most fans/commentators etc seem to believe that Myler is the real deal. They may be wrong, but all this bullhooks about 'should have stayed to continue his development' is just green envy showing its ugly face.

Who cares what other clubs fans think, they will complain about anything. If we had signed Matt Orford they would all be on saying we would be better looking at signing a younger English player who we could develop for the future and who wouldn't be here for the money.

For the record (ive watched the bloke everyweek) its pure hype by the media driven by his media whore offiah, he will back up, he will score tries but for the kind of money, defensivly he is awful always shooting out of the line and lacks the ability to open up a defence at this stage of his career.

I hope you give him 3 years to finish his development and allow him to become the best he can be and dont ditch him after 1 1/2 seasons.

But £300k yes please no reccession at wire is there helps us develop and build a team to compete that will. Thanks again..
