Warrington have just been a name for most of the players to hide behind, being to matey with the boss earns you extensions to meaningless contracts, if ure face fits you can stay wether or not you are a competent RL player this matters not at Wire, as for the drinking culture ect, Les Boyd, jacko, duane, rathbone ect all liked a glass of the amber nectar but you would never knew it when you watched them play because they loved the club and played with [upride[/u, there were games where they did not get paid but still put the effort in
so all this stuff about drinking is not good but i think its deeper than that and Lowes will get the bullet eventually, but you cannot blame him for the shambles that we are in, he has just become part of it, its been going on since we moved to the HJ, the board are to blame they pull the strings ect, as i stated above they all drank years ago and condoned it then and now, to use the drinking culture at the club as an excuse for the shambles is totaly rubbish, as i stated above they all drank years ago but still managed to put a lot off effort into each game, i now the game has changed but also the pride in wearing the P&B has too.
