| Quote ="Oxford Exile"Thought Price got it wrong last night with selecting the small child to come on against that massive Wakefield pack. Clark should have played the full 80 and we should have had another big forward on the bench. Danny Walker needs to bulk up a bit..otherwise he is going to get walked all over every time he plays. I think he's got bags of potential...but physically he is out of his depth at times.'"
Clark has two 80 minute games coming up against Hull and Saints. He needs a break at some point. when you're almost 30 points in front going into the final 20 it should make any difference bringing Danny on.
It never did Burrow any harm playing against the big men. Danny was simply left down by the rest of the pack around him. why are our 'big men' letting danny stand at A, B or C defender when you've got lads like Fiffita or Pauli taking the first drive in.

I have never seen a suspected obstruction being referred as a no try. Very odd.

That is such a disrespectful quote going about Danny Walker. At 18 points up it should be an ideal time to rest Clark and bring on young walker. He does not shy a way from a tackle against a large pack, in years to come he will be the future of Warrington. Much more potential than Patton. If we can’t kill a game off being so far dominant and so far points a head that we can’t give youth a chance and experience we will never progress as a club

| Quote ="Fantastic Mr Cat"The obstruction was a joke, wells echoed thaler's explanation on the field, that there was contact from the dummy runner on the outside shoulder of the defender, which there may have been however a few points to that.
As mentioned currie went through the line, and brough made a bad defensive read, went to tackle him and thats where contact occurred.
At no point was currie in front of patton, nor did he run through as a blocker, he was parallel at all times.
Despite any allegations of obstruction patton was in the process of getting tackled by pauli pauli as he through that pass.
All ends up, that was disgraceful, and if you think of some of the tries leeds and wigan have scored off the back of obstruction and winding runs in and out of the field and around players which we've all seen on sky, it takes the mickey even more.'"
OK as Wakey fan I don't think it was Brought your attacker made contact with Reece Lyne before the ball the ball was passed that committed Lyne causing the obstruction. That's how I saw it.

| I tried to explain the obstruction decision to a guy in work who I convinced to watch a game for the first time. I tried to explain what the rules suggest, to which he replied three times “but nobody tried to tackle him” before I shook my head, sighed and resigned to the fact he’s not watching next week.
A guy who watched 20 odd minutes of a match has spotted a fatal flaw in the rules written by so called experts.

I'm just watching it back, theres no contact at all with lyne, in fact currie is swerving away from brough. We worked that side really well the play before and had the numbers/overlap. Bjb came up into no mans land to tackle atkins.
It's a disgraceful decision.

| Won't say much. We won the game and had we not been screwed out of going on to be 24-0 up then the fightback would never have happened. The try after the disallowed one of ours gave them determination that would have otherwise been non existent. Thaler gave them every 50-50 call in the second half. We got the two points despite this.

Well, you can't have it both ways, at 24 - 0 up your saying Thaler wouldn't have given Wakey "every 50/50 call" in the second half and thus a fightback would be thwarted.
Or you'd have won by 8 instead of 2, or your ideal score of 50 - 0 ?
22 points up at HT, do you really think that being 28 up would have made any difference, the game was gone.
Don't come to Wakey thinking you're going to walk it, which is exactly what you, some of your fans and more importantly the team thought after that first half.
You might not like how narrow the scoreline was in the end, but you get what you deserve when you put the cue on the rack after 40 mins.

That decision upset the apple cart. In a away well take more from ours being chalked off while Saints identical move and score last night remained. It flagged up something that left us startled like a rabbit. We now need to learn how to deal with that situation.

startled like a rabbit...rofl
it was 17 minutes in ffsake, after being "startled like a rabbit" they went on to dominate the half ending 22 points in front????
what you need to deal with is playing your game for 80.....if you can.
and that's my last word on the increasingly distant planet wire..

not disrespectful at all. I said he's got great potential. I don't think its a coincidence that the big Wakey pack got on a roll and got the momentum back when he was on the pitch. He was found out and they walked all over him. He certainly didn't take a backwards step..it was pure physics....he was physically unable to stop the likes of Fafita.

Maybe if we sign Fafita this will help Walker's progress. Fafita's contract is up at the end of the season.

| Hardaker is reminiscent of an old school fullback.
However the modern fullback isn't there to defend...there just another halfback.
I remember Micheal Withers when he went in at fullback under Brian Smith at Bulls....Withers said Smith told him not to tackle anyone in that role.
He'll arguably go down as the best fullback Bradford has ever had.
Later we saw Paul...he couldn't tackle my granny.
