I think they may be right, Catalan and Wigan are falling apart, you and Hull will have the distraction of Wembley and then the winner will have the seemingly inevitable Wembley comedown. The door is wide open for Saints to get a home semi and go into the playoffs in the best form.

Hull FC have had a dream match here in the build up to the challenge cup final.. Game is won at HT ,Catalan are offering absolutely nothing and have been an absolute disgrace...Hull may even have the luxury of taking a few players off with one eye on next week...

Not sure a procession is a great warmup if truth be told. They could still pickup injuries here especially if they start getting half hearted. If we have a good tight and hard game against cas that will be a better confidence builder, Hull haven't had to do anything.

Agree 2 weeks on the run Hull have had a training game not the best prep for a final - a total lack of intensity can cause complacency (hopefully)

Catalans are a shadow of the team from earlier in the season. But as the muppets keep on reminding us, they have be decimated by injury.

I'd be amazed if we have the same this weekend. If its a procession I think it would be us on the receiving end of it, cas have been brilliant recently and their attack is as dangerous as anyone else in the league. Anyway last week is irrelevant for me, I was talking about this week and we should have an intense test on our hands, next week this week will be irrelevant the best team on the day will take the spoils.

Its a shame for catsthey looked like they could have been a challenger for silverware this season but have been unfortunate in the injuries and timing of them a fully fit cats would have been a very different game and one that would leave the hull team feeling like they have been in a game which is exactly what we wanted!!

catalan still had some handy players out their tonight, stewart taylor aiton anderson, to say it wasnt the best preperation for fc is a bit laughable, they did their best to duff us up during the game at times but had nothing in attack when it mattered

I actually said it was dream preparation.. A team that couldn't be bothered turns up and you roll them over easily and have no injuries (I think ) and also two good points on the board... You go into the final in great shape and definately favourites in mine and the Sky teams opinion ..
