The lad is goo yes but if you look at the picture as a whole. Whilst he has some very good positives and a decent highlight reel, his negatives overshadow them for me.

Lots of divided opinion on our Ryan. He scored many great tries through bullocking runs and sheer strength. I am not quite sure I remember him picking us up by our boot straps and dragging us over the line to win many games as some do, it could be my memory letting me down. He scored tries in many big games, including CC Finals and Grand Finals. But he also had his faults. None more so than charging out of the line on numerous occasions leaving gaping holes in the defensive line. Check out the second Wigan Try in the 2016 Grand Final.....One man came flying out of the line...Ladies and gentlemen I give you Mr Ryan Atkins.
