Sadly I did not, Purtroppo Non ho, we were only there for five days and though I picked up quite a bit from the BBC's Italian steps (beginners) I struggled with pronunciation they are also very expressive, the Italians were very friendly and helpful never making me feel embarrassed in any way, it was well worth the opportunity to try and speak Italian.

I seem to remember my first introduction to Italian on the telly was on daytime tv when i should have been at school....Parliamo Italiano on BBC ,closely followed if i remember correctly by Fanny & Johnny Craddock.
