Solid perormance today and some stand out performances as already mentioned, Evans, Bridge, Atkins and Ratchford. Some of the final passes leading to the tries were class. I thought Briers had to play well today and was always probing the London defence and came out with a couple. Westwood again was immence, some good touchline conversions but the amount of work in defence the guy gets through.

A bit of a negaitive from the style of Londons play, IMO they were here to spoil our game play, slowing the ptb and how long does their kicker need for conversions and restarts, must have wasted 10 minutes alone. I suppose after the drubbings we have handed to them in the past few games they didn't want a repeat, so tried slowing us down.

Ratchford was mom by a country mile, so easy on the ball, he's a joy to watch. Personally, I'd move him to hb alongside Briers.

Can't fault London, stuck to a game-plan, unfortunately for them, they came up against a team who wanted to throw the ball about. Against similar opp, they will hold their own. felt they had a couple of decisions go against them, thought 2nd try come off a forward pass, but thats how it goes. They deserved more points on the board.

Had high hopes that London would be an improved side from last season - but hey ho!
Spoiling tactics were tolerated too long by ref(?) and high tackles should have punished earlier.
But some super tries today, the stand outs for me being the Ratchford try, the try from the 20m tap and the Bridge try after the catch and pass by Joel.
Good efforts all round. Michael Monaghan might have been quiet in attack, but his tackling stint was immense.

Good performance today but need to be smarter next week to beat Huddersfield. Wasted lots of possession trying to keep the ball alive and London made easy yards today aswell so a couple of things to work on for next week. Stadium looked great can't wait to see it sold out was big open spaces in the new NE quadrant. MOM has to be the guy that has the kicking tee for London, committed performance throughout.

It wasn't a technical fault. They sacked our game off at half time so that they could commentate on Manchester City's game against Aston Villa instead.

They improved by about 30 points? Agree about Childs, poor first half from him.

quite poor really for a 1st home fixture , didnt the same fixture last year get 11k plus ? , maybe the chilly weather put a few off walking up

I don't agree r.e London's go forward. I thought our pack was dominant. Ratchford was really good, seems to have filled out quite a bit.

Lots of positives today, Ratchford looked good at full back, in attack and defensively. Bridge looked sharp and showed some outstanding footwork. Ryhys Evans looked good again but I was more impressed with the amount of work he got through, he made some good yards in our own 20.

Difficult to judge the team as a whole as London looked quite poor, I was expecting more from them.

last years game was against Hull KR who travel in their thousands , as oppose to harlequins today who might have all travelled in the same car

The kicker has 1 minute to take a kick after 1 minute the referee stops the clock and then restarts it when the kicker starts to take the kick.

Well done to the club itself as well, the new corners have made an amazing difference to the stadium. The pulled pork focaccias are good as well!

So the referee must have stopped the clock for 9 restarts, two of their conversions and kick off. A total of 12 minutes preparing and taking kicksicon_rolleyes.gif

Broncos only scored two tries so wasted 2 minutes lining up the kick.

Even though they only scored twice they still had to restart so waisted minutes in doing so. You may be right about Briers and Benny, it just looked so obvious with the London kicker.

I wonder if this is the sort of game we need to be losing if we are going to be contenders at the end of the season.

Last year we peaked too early, its not how you start the year its how you finish. Look at Leeds yesterday for how its done.

I think second half we was dominant but in the first half London often started their last tackle in our half without doing any fancy.

i have watched steff come through the ranks and in my opinion i rate him very highly a better all round player than richie myler and rate him in the same bracket as joe lydon very versatile in any of the back positions can also play hooker if he goes to warrington you have captured a diamond player



i wrote that last year when rumours were about steff was coming to you and there were a few doubters on the wire site looks like you are warming to him a great young player

We are winning far too many games. This gives the fans nothing to talk about as everyone prefers a good moan. If we ever win the GF there will be silence in the town for a month.

We didn't beat hull and the chances of beating hudds is about 50/50.
