Shortly after I posted this I had a phonecall from the ticket office saying they had me a ticket in the East Stand, and to come in and collect it whenever.

At 1605 I had a call telling me I had to collect my ticket within the next 25 minutes or it would be given to someone else, which obviously took me by surprise as I was given the impression the ticket was mine to collect at any time, as I do week in week out. When I asked how she expected me to get there in that time she snapped "I don't know where you live do I", and made several other confrontational comments. In the end she was testing my patience so I put the phone down before I lost it. Whoever said customer service was dead?

Fortunately a friend is sorting me out with a ticket in the NS. Genuinely shocked at how rude she was!!!

I can't believe this, devestated beyond belief.

Complete madness this. When have Warrington EVER sold out a match two weeks in advance before? Last game at Wilderspool perhaps (bearing in mind capacity was about 4000 lower than it is now)? First game at HJ?

Either way I'd better ring Wigan tomorrow morning and ask when theirs go on general sale!

I'd be suprised if they got to general sale. ST holders will snap em up i'd imagine (though probably be wrong).

I think in this case its weird its sold out 2 weeks ahead, but it is still your next game which isn't normally the case. There'd be another game to think about ahead of this one but this will be at the forefront of your mind.

Why are people surprised this has sold out? We've had 10000 at every home match even when away fans totalled no more than a couple of hundred. No cup final to afford and chance to go a point ahead of Wigan with one match remaining.

I'm surprised it's sold out so quickly because it's so unusual for that to happen. Simple as that really.

Bear in mind if we had lost last night it would actually not be a very big game for us, as Wigan won't lose at home to Crusaders in the last week no matter what they do at Wembley or the HJ in the meantime, so a Wire defeat last night would have ended the race for top three weeks early.

Just asked on the Hull FC board when tickets go onsale and what the situation is with home tickets.

IF we beat Wigan we will take a huge amount over, been a few times and most I have seen was for Johns can't remember how many we got given.

We'll probably get about 5,000 and I don't think we'll take that many to Hull on a Friday night no matter what (bear in mind finishing top isn't really the same as winning the title) so tickets will be easy enough.

I'm working 'til nine anyway so I'll have to watch it here sitting in the dark on my own for the second half after the office has closed.

I would call into the shop, I got a ticket for the cup game south stand after it had been flagged as sold out.

Wont be any rush for Hull we have only been taking 100-200 last few seasons. Will be more like 2000 this year because of what is at stake but won't sell out the away end.

I go in the West anyway, and must admit that for the Cup game Wigan completely took over the whole end. Even in the regular "home" corner by the South it was 90% Wigan around us.

Let's make sure there's no repeat and get those tickets bought lads!

I've been in the West Stand on a Friday night with Hull FC and their Hull City bodyguards. I think we can handle the Wigan Ultras on a Sunday lunch time.

We'd get 4k plus for Hull away if we were to beat Wigan.
