He keeps his job now for another season at least, lost that tonight and I would of been disappointed had I not read in the morning he had gone.

He's not got the whole season though surely. I think he's got the first 6 games or until Easter. The goodwill has been spent this season.

We collapsed at the first sign of trouble, AGAIN
We took our most influential props off and dropped off a cliff, AGAIN
We were handed two sin binnings and a very lopsided penalty count and still struggled to put them to bed, AGAIN

Hardly a ringing endorsement

We were the better side for 70 minutes tonight and realistically we scraped through. We won't be the better side for that much of any other game for the rest of the season but hopefully the pressure is off now and they can work on getting some form to take in to next season.

Played the worst Super League side I've seen for a while against 12 men for 20 minutes and scraped home, enough is enough.

Well the call to arms worked. The fans contributed to that result. We were fighting for every penalty, and we got them. The fans were outstanding, built pressure and dragged the team through kicking and screaming.

Credit where it’s due, dug in and got the job done. Whatever was said at half time worked, no points conceded. But… No corners have been turned on the strength of that, but we live to fight another day.

He's been backed to build a new team, we have a full new pack incoming and dufty and Mikaele for next season. Powell has built his side and will get the chance to take them in to 2023. If we don't perform though he will be gone quite soon IMO.

I agree with you this season has been awful, but no point backing him for the project without giving him a pre season and run of games with the team he has assembled. No way the board will write off next season as well though, no performance and bad results until Easter and somebody else will get a chance.

Maybe Mikaele is still injured but he’s not very good and his defence is woeful. Fans were excellent tonight but all this seasons faults were still glaringly there. We need to be thankful the usual collapse came on 30 mins and not 70.

Ok get that I should of worded it better, I mean he won’t get sacked now and yeh he will be here next season and has the other posters said how long he is here will depend on how the season starts.
