After the way Smith masterminded the semi-final win exploiting Tomkins weaknesses leading to King's walk-in hat-trick I reckon that Smith is well aware that Sheens would spot the weaknesses just as easily.

Tomkins is too big a risk and has never produced in a pressure game. Perhaps after he's had more than 20 or so first grade games he'll be ready to make a mark in a big game. Until then Myler everytime.

Yes it's quite obvious that smith is just picking all the Warrington players because he is Warrington coach. If only he had the coaching knowledge of some slightly dubious Wigan fans.

Myler was better against Wales. Its alright Tomkins grabbing the headlines off the back of Myler's grafting to create the space but it is the mis-tackles stats from Saturday Smith will have been interested in. England can't afford to have players who miss the number of tackles that Tomkins has at international level.

If Myler was so good he would be YPOTY he has only made 4 less appearances thats enough to show you are better than someone.

Oh and Myler plays in the lesser team so has more chance to shine, he is the go to man.

Not sure we can handle covering for a guy who makes around 10 tackles a match and misses 2 of them, not exactly pulling his weight.

Once again this is deteriorating into yet another Wire v Wigan spat. Odemwingie and Rogues Gallery have both promised to behave on the Wigan Board (as have quite a few Wire fans including myself), so they have to come on our Board to slag us off.

If the shoe was on the other foot and the Wire fans went on the Wigan board proclaiming that Tomkins is useless and shouldn't be in the England team, the Wire fans would get banned before they'd even hit the submit button.

The thing is though neither of us are out of order, we are both trying to debate it with stats and opinions, no insults appart from a few I have had from wire fans but I don't mind if they want to do that.

My opinion is that Tomkins is a better player than Myler and I have stats and various methods to prove this armoured with the fact that Myler has not player for months and therefore should not be in the squad.

Just for the record, the only bad thing I ever said on here was that the wire fans causing trouble were scum, other than that I have never gone over the line.
