There are a lot of members on here who hate so called fans giving it the boo's , lets join together and clap & sing for the wire to try to outdo the boo gang. I believe the drummer can outdo them on his own.

So in terms of supporting them a few of us tried but majority are not interested and I have to say that I really don't blame them.

You wouldn't be happy with some of those errors off your U14s Geordie. Heck, I wouldn't be happy with some of them off my U9s! How can a professional player stand there watching the ball dribble along in goal and fail to spot the fact that the attacker is going to score? It's going to be a very long, heart breaking summer.

I agree and I don't blame people for giving up.

I saw the calls on here to get behind them and gave it a real go but about 20 people joined in and even then there was basolutely no reaction on the pitch at all.

We have said it all along, the players have to produce a product that people are interested in, we come to be entertained.

The pre match under 8s game certainly entertained me more, tries, tough tackles and a bit of biff but more than anything effort and a desire to do well.

There was not a lack of effort today, we defended our line very well at times, individual errors cost us dearly, in attack we don't have any halfbacks...well saying that Bridge is doing okay.

All this about fans getting behind the players, it doesn't make a difference. A particular player won't even know a song is being sung about them unless there stood right next to them and not paying attention to the game. See numerous interviews with players, all they hear is noise.

Should be the players giving us something to cheer about, there paid to win games and entertain.

Just because some people boo at full time does not mean that they are NOT real fans! The fans who clap are allowed to and fair play to them if they want to accept what we saw today, but some fans who spend 1000s pounds a year watching this side are still real fans and love the club, they just don't want to see what we saw today, which was a DIRE performance.

I'll still be at every game this season, supporting and believing in hope rather than expectation these days, but if i don't think we are good enough i might boo. That does not mean that i am not a real fan, it means i won't accept rubbish every week like we're getting at moment.

At the end of the day, this is the players jobs. What happens if you do your job poorly, you get moved on! I would be filling the transfer list up sooner rather than later as it is NOT good enough.

Certain players need to have a little look at themselves.

Because he has paid his money as others have and he is entitled to boo if he wishes. What other opportunity can he have to show his displeasure. Just because you may not wish to boo does not prohibit others from doing. Do you actually go any of the matches.

up until a couple of years ago WHEN I MOVED TO LONDON i went to every home game and tried to go most away games too FYI, your point?

oh yeah still get to a few games a season with a nice 400 mile round trip that enough for you.

I went to every home game in 2006, 2007 & 2008 and some away matches. I simply cannot afford to do it anymore and when I am able to do so again, will there be any incentive for me to go again?

The only consolation for me today was that I wasn't surrounded by the usual chavvy gits that seem to frequent our "spot" in the South Stand.
