I quite like them both, however I'll have to see what they look like in the flesh to make sure.
People saying the home one doesn't look like a Warrigton kit, why not? It's primrose, blue and white? We had the same colour scheme not too long ago, think it was 2009?
The players version are skin tight because they are the same as what the players wear, I wouldn't imagine they would want to wear baggy ones!

Yes it was 2009 when we had a largely white home shirt. The difference was that the primrose and blue were in chevrons on the front rather than the blue being across the top. 2009 was also the last year we had a decent set of quality shirts, both home and away

| What I meant by the fact they're skin tight is that the player's shirts are only useful if you're built like an RL Player so they're a waste of time otherwise and you have to make do with a stupid collered shirt.
I never like it when we have primarily-white kits anyway. 05 and 06 I wasn't keen.
For the record, i thought both kits in 2010 were our best in years. Well, jersey-wise. Was never keen on the shorts with 'WOLVES' on the legs!
Last year's home kit was pretty close to the perfect Wire home kit for me, shame about the fans' version being so shoddy. Why can't they just do a replica that looks like the player's version, like 2010? Obviously not with transfers that peel off in the wash, though

I have to agree about the 2009 kits, the away one was hooped primrose and blue wasn't it? The shirt is still primrose, blue and White though.. I like it when the club tries something different rather than having the same design every year.

| Both kits ooze mediocrity. The home kit is dominated by far too much white, whilst the away top looks like something they'd sell in Topman. Thin stripes that don't even go all the way around, with shorts and socks that are reminiscent of old school PE kits.
The home kit though, like, wow, it's the type of shirt I'd expect to see a cyclist wearing. Absolutely poor kit design after recent standards.

exactly my first thoughts ... I'm Warming to the away kit a bit though.
the last shirt I bought was the 2009 away made by canterbury...if these are the same poor quality as last year then it'll be a no from me.....

| I like both. I always like us in white - mainly because that's what they wore when I first started watching them. It also represents the purity of Warrington compared to the other teams in the league (Saints playing in white is clearly ironic).
Wonder which kit we'll wear when we play Wigan.

| Who in Gods name designs these Wire kits ?
Isn't it about time the Clubs publicity department underwent
a complete clearout ?
During the season Wire's get less media coverage than clubs
like Cass or Wakefield.
When it comes to playing kit, I'm sure the local Arts College could do better. That last decent kit was the Help For Hero's
cammo kit which was only for the one game, but was brilliantly appropriate.
Here's hoping...

Clubs like cas and wakey get media coverage because they are usually on the brink of bankruptcy, or on the brink of being kicked out of super league due to having a ground.....
Call me old fashioned but that's not the kind of media coverage i want....
I'm happy with media coverage mentioning a pre season friendly against Souths in Australia, stadium expansion in full flow, and a world cup bid.....
Oh to be like Wakefield though and crowing about signing Ben Cockyene.

| 2009 way, 2010 Home and Away and 2011 Home were all great Wire shirts, just let down by poor replica versions!
The '09 Away should've been the home shirt by a mile.
The away one is growing on me now, probably because it's out of the ordinary for us! Will probably have that one for next year.

...so? You're right they were shiute, but i can't see what reference it has now.
Anyway, these kits are great. I think most of the people criticizing haven't the faintest clue what they want.
I don't see what people are complaining about. There is a modern, yet good looking home shirt (incorp. Primrose and Blue) and a classic design for the away shirt that looks fooking marvelous.
If I can get the pennies together I will get both. If not it will be away again.
Some of you lot are really absurd. The kit looks great. Remember it could be pink with cum stains on the front.

| If you like one and want one, buy one. All a matter of personal taste but they certainly would not win any style awards.

I have. Something like last year or 2010, NOT a mostly white kit like 05, 06 and 09 .
And a proper replica. That is all.

This should be the basic concept for every home kit. Those colours, that pattern. Alter the thickness of hoop/stripe, alter the shade of blue or the collar or whatever, but the design should stay the same.

| I too know what I want, something that is instantly recognisable as a Warrington shirt. We don't have a recognisable brand that makes us stand out and I'm probably giving my age away a bit now but when my dad first took me to Wilderspool, shirts would either be primrose/blue hoops or all white with primrose/blue band and always white shorts with blue/yellow hooped socks, look at pictures from the forties, fifties and sixties and you'll always recognise clubs by their strips. It seems to me now that anything goes at Warrington, provided that whatever insane design is chosen incorporates white, blue and yellow for the home strip and whatever you fancy for an away kit. We don't appear to care for our history and I think it's a little sad that we don't.
Now don't get me started on squad numbers!!

| If we are going the history route though then our new away kit should be our home kit.
I would just alternate every season between P&B hoops, P&B stripes and white with a P&B vee, everyone would have a rough idea what the kit would look like if we kept that pattern, i'd also like to keep our 'traditional' new away kit seeing as it is our original colours as a permanent away kit colour scheme of red and black stripes.
