I heard Solomona was a done deal on the day of the second semi, this is where i heard of the Atkins deal also for £200,000 but Solomona just on increased pay??? And also the possibility of Higham going back to Wigan if piggy goes!!!!

Or is it a case he jsut fed up with being played a scrum half and bagged by the fans? I woudl think the wembley visit and the signign of myler would result in him staying over and making the number 9 shirt his own. |

I sincerely hope so. (That he'll stay, as a nine, a brilliant nine)
It just seems like he's been a bloke who really wanted to go back home, kind of from the minute he arrived. He's given an awful lot whilst he's here, I just think should the opportunity arise, he'd go back home. |

He's on a 4 year deal but (and I'm absolutely ing in the wind here) I think he may have some sort of an option that allows him to look to the NRL after 2 years to get a deal.
To be honest though even if he didn't have that in his contract I would let him go if he wants to. It would be awful for everyone to force him to stay when we so freely binned Gleeson off for the same thing. |
