Bruines isn`t in the squad and it looks like he will now be playing in the Leigh game next week.

He couldn`t get near anywhere near a 1st team gig with St Helens last season but he is young so let`s see how he goes here.

I will need to see play a few games for us to assess his potential.

Not good for him. Hard work at new club, new country etc. & hobbling around. Not much fun and unlucky for him & club.

Very disappointing news for the club and for Rodrick, he must be gutted.

He arrived late and was very unfit and was playing catchup from the get go, i don't think he would have been near the starting lineup anyway.

You can also see it in the changing room after a match when Walker leads the chanting. For me this is the big difference between an import as opposed to a local grown player. They have the passion to win that is all too often missing from a journeyman professional. Walker came through the Widnes Academy but he is a Warringtonian. I am not sure how good he is, but the desire to succeed is certainly there.

So that's 1. Ratchford 2. Thewlis 3. Nicholson 4. Tai 5. Bruines 6. Bullock Bullock seems quite injury prone with injuries to elbow, thumb, ankle, knee all in recent times. At 31 time really is running out for him. I was surprised to see he has played 31 games in his two years though. I thought it was much less. Absolutely gutted. Looked fantastic and would have really put pressure on the senior props. I guess we know where Kasiano's salary is going to be spent now though. Would crisis-club Salford part-ington with one of theirs?

Happened in a play that should not have happened as there was a blatant knock on at the play the ball that Thaler eventually went back to after Thomas had gone down injured.

If Thaler had blown his whistle when the blatant knock on happened rather than 20 seconds afterwards the injury doesn’t happen. Thaler looked far from fit enough to be refereeing at Super League level.

This is so unlucky for Luke. Thankfully Max Wood has made a very encouraging start at the club.

Early days but Burgess seems a little more hesitant to discuss injuries in terms of naming names, issues and length of time out than Powell / Price were.

Another option is to play Powell at 6, leave Currie and Ratchford where they started against Cas and use Crowther as an interchange 13 / 9.

I'm sure i read somewhere that Bullock has knee ligament problems.

Unfortunate for Thomas, as I'm sure he'll have figured in our matchday 17 sometime during this season. Wish him well for a complete recovery.
