Yeah heard it a few times from the usual people "in the know". Same ones who reckon "Moranovich" is currently down-under recruiting players.

I saw the Cas Widnes match and thought Adam Milner looked a really good prospect.

I was told Atkins is on his way to Gloucester. Not that I believed him. Have only seen Clark via highlights and the few games he has played against us. Looks a great prospect, however we need a hooker than can control the game with Monaghan nearing the end.

clark is the closest thing that i have seen to james roby,he is an explosive talent and one that i would love at the rhinos but i believe that he has already been offered too lucrative a contract at the wire

They said on SL Back Chat that this deal was going ahead 'sooner rather than later'. I don't know how reliable Back Chat is, but figured I'd mention it.

I wouldn't be suprised if both Chase and Clark move sooner rather than later, I think Cas have got some serious cash flow issues; perhaps, in fact, it played a part in Millward leaving, or at least caused some fallout behind the scenes that hastened the exit.

Personally, I'd love to see Clark here ASiAP because I really do think Monas is a passenger now, but we'd have to do some creative accounting to fit him in.

Moranovitch was in Australia a couple of weeks ago.... and not just speaking to players agents. From what I've been told he's got a Plan B ready should the unthinkable happen at the end of this season.

He'll be the replacement for either Monaghan or Higham. Can't see him being on more than either of them.

We could sign him today and then 'transfer' him to Swinton who could 'loan' him back to Castleford. But who would 'own' his contract, who would pay his wages and (most importantly) who would take the hit on their salary cap?

I mean Wire are trying to get him for this year, for this to happen a few players will have to be loaned/transferred out. At the moment it is for 2014.

Paul I respect you as a poster on here however, the above post is just cheap talk or teasing without stating what you know. What is the obvious? Tony Smith leaving, Brett Hodgson to retire, Briers to join Widnes. Atkins to Union. Need I go on? Why people say I've heard that (I can't tell you the name of player) but he's coming to us in 2025 slight exaggeration but you know what I'm getting at, I will never know. The chance of the deal falling through because us fans name him on a forum are very remote. So lets turn this board into catchphrase (well sort of) and say what you know.

Daryl Clark named in the Castleford squad for their cup tie with Leeds on Friday night. Is this an indication that he's not coming to Warrington this season?

Will believe this when it happens, last season we had signed Bateman from Bradford next minute he was staying put and signed a new contract. The club will announce it when the time is right if and when we sign him hope its right but will wait and see

If Daryl Clark is coming to Warrington I don't think it will be this season, we are up to or very close to Full Cap. Any deal would be for 2014 when some of our players will be moving on etc.

The only way I can think of is if we were to sign Daryl & then loan him straight back to Cas for the rest of 2013. I don't know if he would then count on our Cap or Castleford's ?

I'm also not sure regarding the salary cap rules. I like him as a player though and hope it does come off. I don't know if we loan Castleford players will they take on their wages and then we have room under the cap. I'm sure if this is to happen then Mr Gatcliffe will have been number crunching

No. And no-one ever will unless the club makes a statement one season along the lines of 'This season we have agreed player contracts which take us right to the salary cap limit' which is unlikely. All the rest is the usual speculation.
