I was slightly hesitant whether to go today or not after a few negative experiences at Hull, but today was totally the opposite. Friendly stewards for a change, no trouble, smashing day out, cracking stadium and a result to boot.

The club have done a lot of hard work in recent years trying to weed out the idiots, don't get me wrong there are still some there but as a Hull fan i have seen a vast improvement over the years regarding some of our 'idots'.

Pie and a pint wasn't cheap though.

The stewards saw me walking round the outside with my crutches and immediately asked if I wanted to go up in the lift. Really helpful they were.

Good to hear these postive stories. A lot of work has been done by Hull FC and the supporters organisations. Hopefully opposition fans will read these posts and feel more confident about travelling to the KC in the future.

I must add I didn't have lunch in the stadium. Or even in Hull come to that.

Did anyone see the young lad that got threw out mid way through the first half? He had a Hull KR shirt on! To make matters worse, it was that horrid grey and orange one. A death wish and no fashion sense - a terrible combination.

Saw him didn't see his shirt though it resulted in a big cheer .

I did fear the worse when I saw the lad being dragged across our stand, but then I saw the HKR top and it brought back memories of the Hull away game when Joey played...dreadful scenes outside the ground that day.

But yesterday was awesome, good banter with Hull fans and no trouble

The charging of away fans more for beverages and food that home fans are charged is still un-acceptable in rugby league.

Hull need to sort that out before we return next season.

I agree it is unacceptable but the catering at the KC is controlled by the Stadium Management Company which is nothing to do with FC who don't get any of the profits either.

Personally I think the food are drink are expensive poop and I wouldn't buy anything in the stadium unless I was really desperate.

Coffee was ok, but costs 50p more than at the HJ.

Great day out. It was my first visit to the stadium and I was very impressed. One minor point though - the larger inside the stadium was definately off - it tasted like Vinegar (I even heard someone asking whether it was cider). I swapped the pint once before giving up and swapping it for bitter to avoid having to sit on the toilet all the way home!

Always tastes like that, i stay well away from it and the bitter is just as poor.

one of our party, neil you know who you are, fell as he was leaving the ground, needed first aid, the stewards and st johns ambulance were brilliant.

10/10 i say, especially after past expieiences
