Concentrating mainly on (ironiclly) West Ham, and to a lesser degree Millwall, it is a true story.

BTW I do not condone violence in any shape or form unless in self-defence.

I remember being at one of the games around 2003 ish, and being stood outside the Postern gate, possible about an hour and a half prior to KO, and I spotted my dad's mate (warry fan) and walked over to hello etc, next thing you know I am being told to get back by a member of the constabulary, which was annoying as all I wanted to do was catch up with a good family friend.



The season after at the Geri halliwell was worse though, before and after the game. Remember hearign a small section of the police report, from yet again another family friend who works in the Cheshire police, Football intelligence dept. Shocking.

Last night was nothing short of disgusting.all these so called 'hardmen' from the east end. Evidentally it was planned, and full marks to the lad who posted above that the lad who gave loads of stick to the Millwall player was a 'bell end'. Something must have gone really belly up with the policing of the game though, as this fixture has 'disorder' written all over it. Shame for the players, and young children, women and normal supporters amongst the crowd. But the leaders of both sets of 'lads' as hitman suggests, will have been further back in the stands, keeping out of 'harms way'. It does still go on though, don't be fooled, in fact it is probably a lot more common place the lower down the football league you go.

As some have highlighted rl has been shady for this kind of thing in the past, however on a much smaller scale, I think there are still a few nob eds who follow some clubs, however on the whole that scene has been left were it belongs, in the 1980's, along sergio Tachinardi shell suits and Farrahs.

you can't beat the look of an 80's football casual,tight jeans,adidas shoes,grandad shirt,nice powder blue lyle and scott or a tacchini two tone traccy top.
out of all the films glorifying football firms the football factory is the best of a bad lot but the film ID from a few years earlier was very good.
all this hooliganism hasn't gone away in fact it's still quite rife in the lower divisions where numbers participating are smaller and the policing not as organised.
certain premiership clubs still have problems and theres still plenty of lads up for an "away" day.anyone who thinks that burnley have not got idiots ready for trouble should go up there and see it for themselves,when they play blackburn or bolton it will go off 100%,they are very tribal up in them thar hills!

The clothes you wear, the music you listen to etc.....it`s just followed on from the Mods. I see myself as being a `Casual` and have since 1982.
