Young players excellent again. Mikaele and Harrison real positives for us and provided us with real impetus.

It's going to take time, but there were positive signs, especially in terms of effort. I think the team look a little nervy which is understandable, but hopefully those 2 points might take some pressure off and we can open up more next game.

Amor picked up an injury, should be back next week or the week after. King could come back in, ratch wasn't perfect at centre. Honestly though the worst part of our whole game was the tactical kicking. Powell has to stop using Williams for our last tackle plays, he doesn't have it in him and its not his fault that it's so poor he shouldn't be kicking in the first place.

Thats the type of dominant scoreline we usually associate with Liverpool FC.

Have to say Mikaele was our best prop tonight. You could tell he was knackered but gave it everything when he carried the ball and was still solid enough in defence. A lot of walking but for the impact he had I can forgive that. Harrison looked fairly ineffective by comparison but it's early days.

Williams also looked more comfortable down that left side which is where he was for Wigan so it makes sense. But some of those kicks tonight from him and Mata'utia were absolutely poor.

Happy with a win though of course.

As others have said two poor teams and they both played below par, perhaps Hull had an excuse having to reorganise at HB and they dropped plenty of ball in the first half.

A painful game BUT there was some effort out there to add to the decent performances from Ashton, Wrench, Thewlis, Harrison and Mikaele.

Talking of performances a TV view might say differently but Child was shocking IMO and he wasn't even handed about it .
