Being a Rovers' fan I know what it's like to have to have tough times and I'm really made up for the supporters who supported your team during the bad times - that's what's sport is all about.

The amount of genuine well wishers in Wigan jerseys that shook my hand and hugged me after the match, or on their way out, was quite nice. They acknowledged their team were a distant and deserved second today and were gracious in defeat; a real credit to the game.
Wouldn't have got that in many other walks of life IMO.
