It is a good point, and one which I have raised before, but it has been deemed that we (posters) do not need to know when a threa dhas been removed.

I think it's because, for example, I could come on and say "yeah, they caught him off camera slapping the fella's bird" or something, which is untrue, and could be seen as Libel and therefore could result in a hugely costly debacle for myself and the site.

Overall, it's probably best if we don't allow that possibilty.

thats the whole point, i put a link on to a video, which has been proven to be a visual display of what happened, not opinion or hearsay, any one can come and make a comment but is also open to litigation if untrue or libelous, not the forum, the poster.

freedom to discuss events should never be sopressed, and until some one crosses that line should not be censored.

what messages does that send out to the kids,not only did he not get a custodial sentance but now he keeps his job, sorry but as a mother i think that it is all wrong(ex soldier or not he did wrong)it really makes me angry are sentancing laws in this country are all wrong..

ive been interested reading some of the posts on here and the majority are for him to be sacked. i just wonder why people are saying that hes received his punishment for the crime (whether that suited the crime or nots a different thing) but the courts have spoken and chosen not to give him a custodial sentance, therefore why should he be double punished and loose his job and livelihood.

i could also name a few more higher profile players from over years who have been involved in trouble with law and convicted yet they werent sacked. so why should they have or will be allowed to keep the jobs??
