Spot on. When it was first announced that Clare Balding was going to present the RL coverage, my initial thought was "oh no, this is going to be a car crash". I couldn't have been more wrong. She was professional, thorough, and genuinely enthusiastic. Did a great job.

Personally, I didn't mind Tony Rea as a commentator, knows the game inside out and comes across very well.

I believe he’s gone home now, but I agree he was a great foil to the silly stuff from Stevo.

I have memories of John Kear being decent as a side kick, and also Brian Noble.

i tend to not let pundits annoy me anymore... a few years ago they would.. now if they say something biased/stupid i just have a little laugh to myself.

Getting annoyed at pundits is deffo something to avoid if you can. It takes the joy out of watching the game (obviously).

I am enjoying watching rugby league much more, now that i take no notice of them.
