Incredulity has now just turned to outright anger at this excuse for a 'team'. A strong 30 mins wins nothing, how far we've fallen in such a short space of time. The usual feeble excuses will be rolled out, week in week out, the same waving of the white flag as soon as the mearest hint of pressure is applied. There are players on that field stealing a living. Shameful

Was I imagining the errors that Thewlis/Wrench/Ashton made then and was I imagining Wigan deliberately targeting them, because they knew they are the weak link?

That capitulation was mainly down to individual errors, and from the young players. People moan if we play young players who make mistakes, and then people moan if he selects players like Minikin. He can't win.

The overall attacking structure was miles better than under Price, with a much more experienced squad. A few better executions and it would be different game.

Do you know what, with all this moaning, I'm loving it now that Powell isn't going anywhere. I'm absolutely loving it. One of the problems with modern society: instant gratification - so patience - it's all or nothing and no grey area.

Made much worse given the fact that our squad is better, and our spending in comparison to that season is chalk and cheese.
