Couldn’t watch the game today but wondered whether Jason Clark was an upgrade on Matt Davis today at 13.

I did post a little early maybe. Still, he’s young and developing and I’m sure he’ll be worth the investment.

I thought Clark was great today. Didn’t look like the Price version, - graft and nothing else. He seemed quite lively. Excellent in the build up to Williams’ try. Very un-Clark-like.

OR, maybe Powell saw that the player wasnt responding to his advice.. so went down another route?

Some players need that.. some dont... what apperared to most to be over the top criticism of 'one of our own'.. may turn out to be just what he needed to hear.

Just because he happened to not dissolve under a frankly needless and unheard of amount of public whining over one simple mistake doesn't mean that performance can be attributed to said coach. As even though he played well its not like his kicking game was out of this world, in fact we still sucked in that area generally today, just we actually happened to make metres and defend well enough to nullify the lack of finding the floor.
