Let me give you another analogy.
When I started watching, it almost coincided with a certain player signing for us, as a young 18 year old. He was signed and played as a stand off for a number of years. Even as a young teenager myself, I could see that this "stand off" was, at best, bloody awful. More creativity in a dead dog.
He eventually moved to centre, where, to be fair, he wasn't much better, but progressively improved over the years, even to be mentioned for GB honours, but for a certain incident on NYD 1988.
He later moved to the pack, where he found his niche, and played his best rugby.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Paul Cullen. A man who would bleed P&B. Having said that, had he transferred to Wigan, Widnes or Saints, he would have given THEM the same level of commitment.

There is the issue. Roberts doesn't give "one". Get rid. He's taking the slash. I despise people like that. That's why I held Asotasi in the same "esteem".

I guess he won't be completely forgiven, but he could me mildly exonerated. Unfortunately I just can't see it happening- he just doesn't seem to give a monkey's.

I pretty much kept quite on him always hoping he would come good,couldn’t care less now.

My thoughts are the same on this. Wish we could just get shut of him. I just hope his lethargy doesn't rub off on the players around him like Asotasi replacing Morley. For what it's worth, I think our mediocre trajectory post-2012 had a lot to do with our A1 pack leader being replaced by a Z26 freeloader in Asotasi.

Now don't be a drama queen I didn't jump on you. I gave you a load of sensible discussion points as to why Akauola is nothing like Asotasi.

no one ever said that about Asotasi in a wire shirt.....ever

similarly no one has ever Said "Tyrone Roberts is absolutely bossing this game"

So Roberts can be compared to Asotasi..but as he isnt a forward Lefty has used the correct use of Asotasiesque rather than saying "he is Asotasi".

Very personal hence my response. Unless you know more than the rest of us this is unfair. Players/personalities are different. Surely during your extensive playing career you must have met all sorts?
