I hardly think saying I'll take the win while also not get carried away with beating the worst team in the competition moaning.

I've ready said I expect us to win most of the games until May.
I'll review my opinion of where we are at after the Castleford game.
We ought to be winning every game before and after that fixture. None of those are games are ones we can honestly say we've improved on from saints.

Have I missed something here, or have we somehow reached a point where we have a God given right to win fixtures?

As has been stated before, no match in SL, especially away matches, are gimmes, especially when you are a side that was so poor in the previous season, who have a new coaching set up and who have a number of players still bedding into that previously struggling side.

A run of wins would be nice. However more realistically we should be content with seeing gradual improvement within the side, especially in attack.

I think it might be fair to say that there are a few Wire fans who seriously need to get a more realistic idea of what this season is actually about and should be lowering expectations a little.

Anyone thinking Wakey should be a comfortable 2 points hasn’t watched them in the last 18 months - especially as they will come off the back of a two week break pretty much.

There is every reason to expect to be winning those games because the investment is at premium.
Two marquee and full cap...less 50k apparently, ought to put Warrington up there with Pies...with Leeds and Saints close up with one marquee and full cap.

Investment being at a premium doesn't automatically give you a right to win games. Especially when it's blatantly obvious to anybody with eyes that much of that investment as been badly spent in recent times on the recruitment side of things.

I get plenty of things by the way. Especially the obvious fact that this isn't a short term fix facing Price and Henderson.

Some people need to show a little patience. And probably a little common sense wouldn't go amiss either.

If the quality of recruitment doesn’t match the money spent, blend of players isn’t right and leaders and pace are missing, quality of home grown players is lacking compared to some other clubs, coaching quality lacks creativity for scoring and runs of form are not good it doesn’t matter what amount of wages or transfer fees are spent.

Expectations should be based on what you actually see.

He was an absouse machine in defence and a workhorse going forward, never shirked when it came to taking the tough balls in. I'm sorry RD, but, this does the opposite, as the reality as reported is that we don't have two marquee signings as you previously stated, although I get the point and others do that with our investment over time we should be better placed, a reflection of the quality of the investment rather than than amount.

Long term expectations will indeed increase as the quality of player signed improves.

However expectation that we go on some lengthy unbeaten run on the back of this one signing is simply setting himself for more disappointment (and for some, more naive ranting on here).
