Great performance tonight from every player. If saints had scored in those 5 or 6 sets on our line then it could have been same old story. 1st time i have ever seen us beat Saints and can't believe im moaning about two soft trys at the end!

Somehow I had the feeling that last night would be your night!

I have noticed when we pick apart and dismantle teams with ruthless vigour and skill, we get the excuse "they weren't playing well". Leeds in the CC and now Saints. I think we were the reason they weren't playing well. Warrington have the ability to shut down teams and stop them playing.

I woke up yesterday morning and just knew we would win, which is strange for me as I am normally pessemistic. I text a few people saying we woud win and all replied that I was mad...needless to say I took great pleasure in saying I told you so! Fantastic game Wire, now let's keep it up for the rest of the year!

TS is quite clearly superb. He spends his time watching the opposition, preparing a game plan, understanding his players. Clearly he got it all right last night.

The first 10 minutes we had the element of luck - couple of decisions went our way (like Morley's play at the kick on our line) - we got our heads up and we really took our chances. Defence supported that. Smashing. Just lost concentration at the end but thats not surprising.

I always enjoy a game when I think about who I would give MOM to and I really can't make a decision.

Whatever TS did this week to prepare for today - I hope he repeats it for the next 8 months!

Wouldn't say Blythe was the weak link, but i don't like his tackling technique, too high and too loose.

Atkins bar the last 10 mins when he seemed to wake up didn't do much, but again wouldn't say he was a weak link either.
