It's not everyday Wire get to Wembley, people can do as they like, I for one will be cracking my first can open as soon as I get on the coach.

Agreed i don't usually drink apart from at parties but since its Wembley can't resist having a few beers. Don't see why people drink too much though i saw a friend at wembley last year and they were really drunk and were swaying from side to side haha ill just have a few then save most for the journey home so i can enjoy the game

Since our host for the weekend is a Saints fan, this itinerary is subject to change!

Friday - Work all day, hopefully an early dart at 4.30 (couldn't get the full day off....damn women!!). Train from WBQ to Euston, travelling first class! Reach London just after 8pm, dump the bags at the hotel and out for a few scoops, normally go to either Camden Town or Covent Garden.

Saturday - breakfast, train to Wembley, head to the Green Man, soak up the atmosphere (and hopefully some rays!!), match (growing fingernails to bite!), celebrations, then back to the Green Man to digest the game, back to hotel and then out again.

Sunday - nursing hangover, win or lose, back home or to the homecoming (dependant on what happens!) and then the rest of the day and bank holiday monday to recover. Then might book a couple more days off as work is rubbish at the moment.

6am Sat - Leave House in the car for a nice easy jaunt down the M6.
10.30am - Arrive at Wembley to soak in the atmosphere and try and get behind Clare Balding when she does her pre-match links down wembley way.
1.15pm - settle down in my seat in the stadium behind the sticks with my drink and pizza slice - £6 - bargain!
4.20pm - Watch Wire lift the cup which might be more satisfying given the improved calibre of opponent this year.
5.15pm - Leave Wembley performing amazing bladder strength to get home by 8pm and watch the match from my sky+ whilst tucking into a chinese.
