We have had our good result. ok, it was a very poor salford team today. But you have too go out and win your matches and stay on par.

It is annoying how we get called arrogant whenever we get a win yet when Wire win they are the best. Im not saying all Wire fans are like that, that would be unfair, but quite alot are.

NOT the same Salford at all - the Wigan game was possibly Salford's best performance of the season (certainly defensively) while yesterday was arguably our worst. We were at almost full strength again Wigan but had a depleted pack yesterday.

No problem with you being chuffed over a big win yesterday but please don't think that makes you a better side than Wigan.

we dont think we are a better side than wigan..the end of season table will define who has been the best team...as for being arrogant wigan fans win that hands down always have and always will...

dolly _daydream and Mr Spoon, with a grand total of less than 25 posts between them, can be considered representative of the majority of fans of their respective clubs? I think not. Salford were poor yesterday, and at times Wire din't have top get out of second gear to score. Will be much harder for Pies against Giants today, and for us at the Galpharm next week.

some warrington fans make some comments on here that are embarrassing.

yes we played very well yesterday, and yes, salford were awful. we may not be the best team in the league, but we are one of the best, as are saints and wigan.

not all warrington fans are arrogant, just some on here that are an embarrassment for the rest.

This thread (not the original post incidentally) is the reason I wanted us to stay behind Wigan for a while. I want us to carry on getting results most weeks (isn't it good that each time we've lost this year, we seem to have come back stronger?) and (cliche alert) the table will then look after itself. As soon as we hit the top, there'll be more media and fan pressure and lots of people using any loss as a sign of us starting to slip...

Anyway, near enough halfway through the season (in two weeks time we'll have played everybody, plus the extra game vs Salford) and the worst we'll be is 10/14. That is good and if we repeat it in the second half of the season, we'll finish top 4 if not top 2.

Enjoy our great attacking play and our remarkably improved defence. Never forget where we've been...

I still think it will be Wigan, Wire and Saints in the top 3, they have been the best 3 teams this season so far.
