Agree, apart from your comments about last year's match. It was a classic, and even the neutrals loved it. You may have been disappointed, but the standard was very high for two teams sitting in 9th and 10th.

This was the game that Wire didn't miss a tackle in the first half and Wigan only missed two or something like that.

You got one, and then had two disallowed (held up and knock on from a kick) before we touched the ball (IIRC). I believe Carvell let the ball bounce from kick off which gave you the ball for 8 minutes. That was the first time we had seen our defence hold up in a good while.

Personally I didn't enjoy it, not just because of the result, I didn't think it was a high standard especially in attack and the whole season was poor really. I can understand how it would be a good watch for the neutral though.

Back on topic. Wigans allocation of tickets only went on general sale on Monday. A lot of non season ticket holders have been buying from Warrington to avoid waiting.

Bit harsh init just because we sold out by Monday doesn't mean they have to. They've only been on sale at Wigan for 2 days like rogues said and will probably sell out today.

Theres still a few more days to shift those last few tickets, so i dont see why we wont sell our allocation, and when you add the amount already bought direct from Warrington, it means we will take plenty more than our allocation. Armchair fans!! Love that!! Remind me of the last time Warrington averaged more than Wigan?? We got more than the capacity of the HJ for our first home game this season against Crusaders, not to mention atleast half of last seasons home games. Think a few people are getting overly excited about the fact that we have a few tickets left.

Wigan fans are widely known to be one of the best supported teams in the country and we always take large and consistent away numbers! We have a higher home average than you and have done since before I was born. I'm pretty sure we have sold around 2,000 already due to so many people buying from wire so that already puts an extra 700 on what you brought to our place last year the week after you beat us in that semi!

Doesnt really matter this petty debate, but dont be fooling yourself in to thinking that "loads" (ie more than 50) Wigan fans have bought tickets from Wire.

Wigan are generally very well supported except in cup semi games for some odd reason and will bring plenty on Sat. It will be a great atmosphere I'm sure.

The game is too close to call, but the fact that the game will sell out is not even worth debating.

I bought 20 from Wigan for Warrington fans wanting to go in the West Stand.

Great news, easily the best home game of the season. Looking forward to a great battle and the Myler/Tomkins debate after.

Its going to be a great game, a full house is good and should make for a cracking atmosphere. Im glad this game is a late sat afternoon kick off, plenty of time for beer before.
