Looks like you need to get registering on ebay so that you can get bidding. I reckon its gonna cost you at least a couple of grand.

Someone else decides to do similar, except the sell it on ebay rather than the bin it, and they are the lowest of the low.

Had ebay been around back then I think there is a good chance that Lee would have sold his and would have made a few bob to pay for his off-season holiday.

If it is Rauhihi and that is an IF, then it smacks of sour grapes because he deservedly got dropped for the final.

Simple answer, decide who is going to buy it and dont bid against them or we could buy it as RLFans and donate it to the club.

If we can get a fair few of us to promise to Chuck a tenner in then we should be able to win the auction and donate it to the club.

Like i have said i'm willing to bid or make a donation to make sure it goes to the club. I think its going to cost a bit more than a tenner each though

We (Rugbychick & Foz) would be up for that Geordie. It's a great idea to buy it together, we could raise more money that way, then donate it to the club to be displayed with the trophy. Or if not the club then maybe the Mike Greg fund or Benevolent fund?

I find this all very sickening, why should the fans or indeed the club or moran give this waster anymore of our hard earned cash.

Its just soured everything that was good about winning the Cup.

It doesn't sit well knwoing people's money would be going towards this waster, whoever it is *cough*. But then again I'd rather they had the money and the medal ended up at the club or with a charity than it go to some unnamed winning bidder and disappear into the ether. The seller is going to get the money either way.

My thoughts exactly. If the Warrington fans on downtothewire want it to go to the club then get one of the mods to set up a paypal account and fans can add as much or as little as they want to it. Then bid only as much as is in the fund so you dont run the risk of overbidding. If you win, happy days. If you don't, give it to the benevolent fund and you can all enjoy that glowing feeling of having done something good.

Actually, reading peoples posts and how peeved they are, I don't think that's a good idea unless it's part of a.......what's that word that the football clubs use........consortium, that's it. A consortium.
