Agreed, said whilst watching the Hudders game, if they defend in the same manner in the final, it will be crying out for a speedster, such as Penny, to stay out wide hugging the touchline. They were compacting their defence,with centre`s/winger`s coming up very quickly, (umbrella defence), in order to confine St`s to One-Out-Rugby down the centre of the field. Kicking very early in the tackle count can send teams defending like this in to disarray, leaving them in Two minds when defending. "Could", mean a player with Penny`s pace having a field-day.
Would it be worth the risk though??? If Hudders have the majority of posession at any time, could backfire, (still not convinced with regards to his defence)...
