Ive had loads of dogs mate, Red Setter, Border Collie, Shiz Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier and a Ridgeback, thinking of getting a West Highland Terrier soon.
Border Collie has to be the best out of them.

We had to do that to out previous dog (mongrel). He wanted to fight or hump every dog he came across until we had his knackers off. After that he was a changed animal, not unsurprisingly.

That sounds like my brothers, I don't think you could ever tire her out...
Great dogs though, the cockers, would defintiely recommend them.

Cheers.
Erm, I'm really not sure, a while back I was watching my mate play footy and a little beagle ran on the field and I thought it was stunning, and I've wanted one ever since.
After a few months of looking around and asking several breeders, I finally got one, he's nice, I've named him Floyd.

Just general obedience around the house and on walks, really. Nothing spectacular or anything, just the normal stuff, and to hopefully get him around dogs so he's alright around others.

| All this talk of puppies is a bit worrying....any idea how many dogs need rehoming from places like Cheshire Dogs home? It'll cost you about £80 and you're giving the dog another chance at a good home., and the love it deserves. At least pay them a visit, you may just be surprised.

I went there before I got mine and it's upsetting seeing those dogs in there, but I've always wanted to raise a dog and bring him up myself, bringing one from a home just wasn't in my plans. I went to the RSPCA near speed karting too and I think that's a nicer place than the dog's home, and the dogs there were nicer.
A mate of mine recently got his Springer Spaniel via a Springer Rescue, he was for free but they made a donation, and he's absolutely lovely. They got him at 5 months old after he was abandoned and he's a really nice dog.
I guess it's each to their own, I know a few people who have re-homed dogs and there's nothing wrong with that, just some people would rather raise their's themselves.

| Having young kids means i cant take the risk with a re-homer, you just dont know enough about their background.
Before anyone says, I know you cant trust any dog 100%.
However, I believe you stand a better chance with a puppy selected by yourself and especially when you have seen its parents too.
