Is this offical, or just something you've made up?
The club can't surely do this, close the stand for some flags when people want tickets. We got 11k for Quins so i expect the same against Catalan, IIRC the west stand was half full, so where are these half going to go, as i also expect the South stand to be sold out too(ish) No room in the North, or the East.

I go to watch the match, not to widge measure that we have the best cloth woven in to a style that looks appealing to the team that follows it.

Who cares, if we had flags woven by Persian aristocrats using the finest silk and hand crafted under a microscope i still wouldn't brag about it because i pay my money to watch the rugby.
Yes you have some nice flags, brilliant, well done, awesome, whoop whoop, you take those and i'll take the 2 points from the game i watched. |

+1 the great thing about the Wigan Tampons is that they claim they have super dooper support and yet their stand was only populated by flags at bout 65 mins last week.
It is a good job their flags can't f##k off. They're the only thing loyal about Wigan Warriors. |

it has been brought to my attention that our flags are not as good as some of our superleague rivals.
Firstly, this is devastating news.
secondly i feel that we should be looking to do something about it.
I think we need
a) a name that will make everyone sit up and take notice of our greatness... has anyone taken 'the ultras' tag yet?
b) a few flags with slogans copied from football teams.
c) a novelty badge.... i suggest a wolf giving it a big 'roar' behind a primrose and blue background.
d) an australian goalkicking man of steel. ( i think we have this one ticked off)

I personally think it would look quality if the whole wire end at our place was full of primrose and blue flags waving with all the colour and banners showing the history of the club. I think it shows our sport in a good way when fans are doing things like this?
Did you not all think it looked really good at the challenge cup final when Warrington fans were all in their colours with flags out? That is what it's about. |

I understand it making your home games feel more like "home" as you haven't really got your own stadium, so any help in that area I'm sure is appreciated. The flags mean jack if you don't sing though? as no real atmosphere created. Just becomes a really art show. You say you sing all these football chants but you're quiet as. The idea is quite a good one, just that your names are really poor. Seems a bit of a Stretford end copy in all honesty. Ripping off your own fans by changing names after 6 months. It makes it a bit of a joke, got a United flag on there as well. |
