This weather could be a real pain for us and rest of Super League, could really do with getting a couple of games in before the season starts, might not be able to at this rate!

IIRC Leigh Sports Village does have under soil heating*. However the problem with their Salford game was the unsafe footpaths outside the stadium. I think it'll be on.

your being optimistic, i live just accross the bypass from LSV and the roads around the ground and the footpaths are in a shocking state, unless they clear the access it'll be off imo.

Game will be on, undersoil heating and footpaths much clearer, small effort next sunday morning and all will be well.

it did look a little better tonight as i drove past on the way to work, there are big piles of snow where the car parks have been partly cleared, it still looks a little slippy underfoot though, i hope it is on, it's my birthday on the friday!

Try to make sure you get tickets in advance. You'll probably be holding back in case the game is off, but all games at the LSV are all ticket - no cash turnstiles. If a few hundred of you turn up at the ticket office on Sunday it will be absolute chaos.

why not have cash turnstyles? Surely they dont think people will fiddle in this day and age..not in Leigh

Think most Leythers wish we had cash turnstyles as well Dico, don't know why we don't though.

Game should be on without a problem, I reckon. Big effort to clear the car parks and I think we could both do with a game. Hope to see plenty of familiar faces up Leyth before (and after) the game.
