Out of the three halves in discussion, Tomkins has been by far the most unimpressive against us, not that that matters much, I've not seen much of him, but he's never impressed when I have seen him.

Don't know why anyone is comparing Tomkins to either Myler or Pryce. Tomkins will end up at 6 for Wigan or in Union knowing how they struggle with the 'communist cap'.

Eastmond has had two major shoulder reconstructions at an early age.

Eastmond is far better than Tomkins by a lot. And so is Myler.

There is no doubting the guys quality. Can he do its week in week out. Look at the guys figure, he looks like hes been in the game at this level for years.

Its a lot for a young body to take.

Happened to Scully and he was knackered from 25 years onwards.

Tomkins has still to put muscle and size on yet, and to me there is nothing between them.

Thats why i would take Tomkins before Eastmond.

The point is, Eastomnd has strenght that Tomkins hasnt got YET. There is nothing between the players.

Tomkins is class in an average side. Eastmond is class is a fantastic side. Myler is class in a crap side.

The fantastic thing is they are all British.
