The guy played really well today, I'm really happy for him that he had a good game. You could see the relief in his face when he scored.

He has a lot of potential and if he is a confidance player then today cant have hurt and hopefully he will kick on from here.

did well today...bit more pace and he`d av waltzed down the wing when he intercepted but still he did well and tackled well in good all round team effort

thought he was really good today, as was all the team, actually thought briers was quality from the bench, lit the game up and also pulled off try saving tackle, thought team spirit was key today, cmon the wire

He had a competent game but did no more than he is expected to do and still came up with a howling mistake at the end. However I hope he takes this as a start point to rebuild his game. On the other hand Kevin Penny would have scored from such a clean break with ease so when is he going to get his chance?

Possible because he does jump well even though he is rather shorter. And bear in mind, he comes much, much cheaper and isn't on the quota.

And on the other hand; he DEFINITELY would have scored with clear field in front of him and definitely wouldn't have been run down for pace and caught by a second rower.

No, what I'm saying is that he made and error late in the game when the game was already won so it didn't mean much.

However I would be saying different if we lost the game from that error mind you.

Don't get me wrong; I honestly hope he kicks from here but he is far from the superstar player we thought we were getting. His running style is all wrong though; his body position is far too upright into the collision and thus he is always likely to cough the ball up when an opponent gets their shoulder under the ball.

King is 6ft 4 and caught it above his head with some decent pressure on him, not sure Penny would have been able to get it. Just making the point that they have advantages in completely different areas...

One of Kings best games for us today anyway, lets hope he can keep it up and keep improving every week.

Agreed but even that is better than his previous less than average performance's. Nice to see him score the try, hopefully we'll use that tactic more.

Played well today, solid coming away from his line as always and took his try well, didn't really do anything wrong.

How can you say Penny was the weak link???? Anyone with any knowledge of rugby could see that the defence inside the winger has and still is the problem???? The winger is made to look a fool when he is left with 2 or even 3 attackers!!!!

Fair play today though defence was tons better but to say Penny was the weak link is so wrong!!!! He didn't play last week and we conceded 60!!!!!

None of last weeks tries were scored down King's wing and none this week either, Penny was the problem.

Penny always had to come inside because Kingy went missing, so the wing was free for the team bus to get down.

Penny's been treated pretty unfairly but he should be raring to go when he gets the nod.

Kingy was good today but agree with what some have said, this is what's expected, so he's gotta back it up with consistent performances.

Ok then Penny has played only 1 game this season and was hardly to blame for any tries if you watch the game again!!!!!! so who is at fault then?????

Going back to the days of Brian Bevan he couldnt defend for toffee but is classed as a legend!!!! Rightly so too
